You will be really surprised to see who is backing the FNM with cash and who is backing Minnis. And you will be really surprised to see the kind of campaign that Pintard will run.

The "Minnis-is-a-weak-leader" chestnut is for those expecting a politician, not a policy maker with a plan to pick up the tatters of the country.

There will be surprises, and they will be pleasant. Fully expecting the PLP to respond with the Valentine Grimes Ballots-in-the-suitcase stratagem , but that too will be futile.

The campaign will get real interesting shortly.

Whose going to want to sink money into the Bahamas when the government can take your investment away, sticking their nose into a business deal?

Shakes head -- blows me away. The irony is that this could be an export product. Even if the quantities are minuscule, everything helps in the balance of trade.

The weirdest thing about this, is that he so valued his friendship with the Bran & his assassinated brother, that he ran publicly for their party. But by the same token, the depth of his very valued friendship from boyhood, wasn't deep enough to inform his close friends that he was tattooing new stripes on himself in a different political party. Boy, he will fit right into the PLP. No moral decency and no respect for altruistic human values -- these are the hallmarks of the PLP. Yep the PLP caught theyselves a grouper according to "Jerry Roker" in the guttersnipe online press.

Looking in Wikipedia, I noticed that groupers are also called gropers, which is also applicable to the PLP. Going back to wiki: Groupers typically have a stout body and a large mouth. They are not built for long-distance. They swallow prey rather than biting pieces off it. They have heavy crushing tooth plates. Again, a real accurate portrait of the PLP. It is uncanny. Here is the most telling feature of a PLP groper: They are indiscriminately male and or female as adolescents and when they pass a certain point in maturity, they become female. Yep, the PLP caught theyseffs a real groper.

Golly Gee, our Road Traffic Department has just made a big advancement and moved from the 1950's to at least 1995, maybe 2000 even. I love the way Smith says that with a computer, you can make a change of address quickly. Wait till he discovers that computers can look up and sort data as well. Those new-fangled things will befuddle the Road Traffic department. Those handwritten forms pasted to the windscreen of the car are very modern as well.

The real interesting part about this whole non-story, is how Munroe treated his supposed friend Bran. This goes to character. You would think that valued human altruistic attributes like friendship and honesty and openness would trump politics, but apparently not for this lawyer. It speaks volumes about the character of the PLP and its gang members.

Question: What do you call a mailboat that sinks to the bottom of the ocean, with a thousand Bahamian lawyers on it?

Answer: A good start.

The unpatriotic one is Allyson Maynard Gibson. There isn't a shred of decency or altruism in her.

Says that there is no moral compass, and the level of hypocrisy is a deeply embedded cultural icon. PLP supporters are not all that smart, or have no self respect , and think that the criminal party is worthy of their attentions. They do not esteem themselves as persons worthy holding the repository of truth and goodness in them. It is the slave mentality that Swindling encouraged with his constant showing of "Roots". The sad aspect is that the country suffers greatly because of these mental midget unfortunates in about half the population of the Bahamas among us. There is no hope for the Bahamas until the drug money is dissipated and the value-programmed generation of hypocritical, moral illiterates are moldering in their graves.

It's time that we gave the country to the businessmen to run. Either Minnis or Symonette, doesn't matter. At least they have a clue. Business also understands that organic well-being for the population is good for business.
