Sigh, birdie you are blind. I feel sorry for you. Mr. Ingraham wanted to give constitutional equality to women and the PLP vigorously campaigned against him. The FNM were required to clean up the Bahamas after the kleptocracy and the intense damage that Pindling did to the Bahamas.

Perhaps you like hypocrisy. Perhaps you worship the criminal Pindling who sold your country to the cocaine cartels. Perhaps you like the philandering of Shame Gibson, and the money he stole from the ministry of Housing and his affair with Anna Nicole Smith. Perhaps you don't mind Bradley Roberts raping a woman and sending her off to Florida afterwards to hush up. Maybe you think that the Deputy PM should get some action with Jamaican ladies of the evening, as reported in the press. Perhaps you don't mind Leslie Miller giving you a smack once in awhile because you are a woman, or ripping out a toilet that he once gave you. I could go on and on. Maybe you adore corruption because you cannot bend your head around it. Maybe you profit by it. Who knows. All that I know, is that those with eyes that can see, and ears that can hear, and minds that can think, know that the PLP is a criminal organisation that has been raping this country since independence, and threw you a crumb or two, which causes your perpetual adoration.

It was Loftus Roker who destroyed the education system by sending the qualified teachers home. Perhaps you don't mind the hypocrisy of the sexual orientation of a significant portion of the PLP cabinet. Perhaps you don't mind that Swindling put away hundreds of millions of narco dollars in foreign banks.

Perhaps your moral compass and gone, and you are not capable of understanding right from wrong. You certainly do not know what patriotism and country-first is.

I agree with you about the simpler times. I can remember when Montell Heights had well-kept houses and quaint neighbourhoods. Even those with a rudimentary education could write beautiful cursive script. There was a sense of friendliness and belonging. One couldn't walk the street without meeting someone that you knew -- or were related to. There was a wonderful politesse when even strangers on ascending the steps of a jitney would say "Good Afternoon" and the congregation aboard the jitney would reply as one. The markets were rudimentary, but the fruits of the sea were plentiful. Nobody had money but nobody starved. It seems that we were a happier bunch, with a greater sense of community, and it all went to hell.

Even your good buddy Loftus Roker (who destroyed the education system in the Bahamas) thinks that evil Damian is trying dirty tricks to deflect his disastrous Baha Mar behaviour. This manufactured situation would not have come up if the PLP were not the criminal organisation that they are.

Let's face it. I can detect that even you know the score, and can detect the deficiencies of the ruling party. I don't know why your sympathies lie with them. There are only two reasons -- (1) as I or others pointed out, you are benefiting financially from them or (2) your heritage is tied to the PLP and it is very difficult to admit totally disillusionment with something that was supposed to be a landmark watershed moment for us Bahamians of colour. I mean, I once asked a former minister who's family was closely tied to Ping's admin, and he said that he was sick of tired of being tarred with the same corruption brush as Ping, and yet the family fortune was built that way. Totally conflicted.

I also know that there is no way in Hell, that any rational thought would ever change your mind. When the day comes, you will place your X against the PLP, and nothing that anyone says or does will change that. I understand that. Faith and belief are more powerful than rationality.

The only thing that conquers it, is intelligence, and I believe that you are so endowed, but are constricted by other factors of perhaps loyalty -- other than the sense of fealty or pecuniary gain.

I think that as Bahamians we all wish for the best, but our views really differ on what needs to be done.

The two percent drop in unemployment is smoke and mirrors. I didn't think that the Ministry of Finance would take up cooking the books. The structural unemployment problem is huge. They must be desperate. I used to think that John Rolle would tell it like it is, and not stoop to the partisanship of Wendy Craigg, his boss. By fudging the numbers, they are just throwing gasoline on the economic fire that will engulf the Bahamas.

Baha Mar is a flash in the pan -- a tempest in a teapot when you consider the overall picture. The telling statement is structural weakness. That will bring the house crashing down. The PLP are just (almost thankfully) accelerating the crash. S&P is predicting less than 1% growth, but actually the growth will be negative unless massive inflation keeps it steady. Massive inflation is not a thing wished-for. We are one step away from a junk status rating and it will come within the next 3-6 months.

The reputational damage done by Christie and Maynard Gibson is huge. If they had let Izmirlian carry on and finish the project, then it would have been a minor blip. Unfortunately Christie & the PLP sided with the Chinese, and should have been reading the business news about the Chinese stockmarket crash which is an ongoing saga. Not only did they back the wrong horse, but the only thing that they got for their efforts is horse apples.

There will be no economic growth. What that really means is that the backsliding will accelerate because there will be no growth to counter it. If the government manages to keep the debt growth rate at an impossible 3%, then in less than 10 years, the national debt will be 100% of the economy.

There will be a devaluation of the Bahamian dollar, and it will have to come within 3-5 years, and the suffering of the population will be horrendous. By 2017, there will be very little left to save.

And he is known outside the Bahamas. I was invited by a colleague in Toronto, to a party being held up the mountain in Hamilton Ontario. Whilst they were boiling corn and barbecuing steaks, the music came on, and the host warned his guests that they were being watched. He then put on the KB song "The Toters". In any other country, KB would be very rich and a cultural icon. But not only that, his song "Civil Servant" is satire in the finest Jonathan Swift tradition that is worthy of becoming a Bahamian classic

Proof that Perry has lost control of his senses and his caucus. The human garbage in the PLP, not a single one with a moral compass, are running rampant, out of control. From Mitchell, to Gibson, to Maynard Gibson, to Gomez, to Perry, to Brave, to Obie, to Brad, there is not a shred of human decency anywhere. How did we manage to breed and elect these animals?
