This is very upsetting! I run a business pay my taxes, jump through all the government loops and bu%l$hit that make actually running my business put on the side sometimes and there are others who get away with this? Worst of all the governments answer is to put more road blocks and make life more difficult for the people who are paying their taxes.

Every business I talk to is suffering the same problem. Pay all your taxes, NIB, VAT, and everything due to government and you just wait for your documents. Then they hold you liable for not having the said docs. This TCC is just ridiculous. If you have not paid all due taxes then do not issue a new business license when it is up for renewal. Why the duplication? The business license should serve the same function as TCC etc. Every government office you go into they need your passport, business license, NIB letter of good standing, TCC, VAT certificate, all we are doing is making work for people duplicating the same thing.

I have been trying for 6 months to get my cable monthly statement emailed to my business email address. Signed up online 5 times to for a emailed statement. Talked to tech support and talked to my company rep. So far no statement gets emailed. So much for them being a tech company. These companies are lazy and do not give two shi(s of a rats a$$ about keeping their customers. I hope they go under. They suck big fat donkey balls and for no good reason other than being lazy and complacent.

Let our House of Assembly be based on population like it is. Reform the Senate with a little more power and make the Senate a elected body where each major island group gets 1 Senator sort of like the US Senate has 2 Senators for each state. One house based on population and the other more land based. This will would do more good than any other reform at this time.

Maybe the UN should be concerned with the mass violation of human rights and the nerumberge code violations regarding medical experimentation on people.

Don't register, boycott them. First of all it is not mandatory to register or collect VAT if earing under 100,000 dollars. Secondly If the government collects VAT on the rental itself then the owners are VAT registrants. Can the owner then claim back the VAT on all their expense, power bills etc. like other business that have to collect VAT? It cannot be both ways. What about all the concessions hotels get? Will the rental properties be entitled to those?
