Not that I think the government needs more money to squander but, why is a poorer person making 300 dollars a week paying 3.9% of their salary and someone making 1000 dolllars a week only paying 2.9% of their income to NIB? Even if you wanted to protect employers from having to pay the 5.9% over the $740 per week cap (make them not pay or pay a reduce %) richer persons should not be paying a lesser percentage of their weekly pay to NIB than a poorer person.

This is just a bad idea. I rarely use cheques still in my business but, there are times it is necessary. I have one vendor who no matter I have tried seems not be able to send receive a transfer payment from my company. There are instances where cheques are still very useful tools and to eliminate them for what reason I do not know. Do not even get me started on the penny, by my estimates the penny thing costs my business about 1,200 dollars per year in productivity. Times that by how many thousands of business in this country and were talking millions of dollars in GDP productivity damage. These people live in lala land and come up with these stupid ideas to make themselves seem important and modern.

The writer states in one line people are killing them to eat and in another line says people are killing them for sport. So which is it? Humans hunting animals to eat is not sport. When did it become ok to hunt and eat fish? Hunt and eat pigeons, wild pigs etc? This has been ok since humans have been living on this planet. Do you kill rodents living in your house, ants, bugs? Get a reality check and stop letting emotions drive your actions and desire to enforce your emotions on other people. Grow up.

Makes sense why should people here on vacation in a mega yacht be able to buy food at basically a subsidy provided by the grocery store?

Yes I am sure tomato and onion farmers will jump at this opportunity with the new price controls limiting them to 15% markup.

Restrict air travel based on BMI with weigh ins. Require cholesterol, A1c, and BP lab passport cards to enter fast food joints and chicken shacks. Keep all junk foods and sugary drinks in special lockdown isles in the grocery stores that you must be at least 18 to enter and provide cholesterol and BP passport cards along with mandatory scales weigh in to enter those isles. Oh and make anyone with a high BMI to wear a cloth mask at all times especially kids. After all they must be good for something we just have not figured it out yet.
