We have enough small islands just find one and put all the mask wearing, life destroying, testing and lockdown fanatics on it and let them self isolate for the rest of their lives. These people need to go back into a hole.

Well despite decreasing margins as a %. Banks take 4% if you use a card to pay for your purchase. So when gas is now close to 7 dollars the bank takes .28 cents of the .54 cents allowed for cards and government and banks are in a big push to go cashless. How can people pay to run a service station? Government making money, bank making money but, the merchant makes less and less. Bank card charges are a hidden tax no one thinks about. Imagine handling money basically via computer which costs nothing and getting 4% on every transaction.

Maybe he should ask if the law allows him to charge the demand charge to business who need to then build their own backup generation for BPL's shitty service.

Just put NIB to 100% of salaries now and get it over with. That would solve the problem.

bcitizen says...

NIB has become nothing more than a basic income tax. Call it what it is. Government just takes the money and invests it in non performing government programs and buildings. How much more do they think individuals and business can take? The business pays about 2/3 of the NIB contributions and the employee about 1/3. Remember when Minnis first became PM and that video of him touring the NIB office? How many people they got working in that place? They had people inside broom closets sitting at a desk.

Yes thank you. Now please get rid of masks and tourist visa and tests.
