Time for Abaco to revive the old days of blockade running. Kind of strange how a very rich blockade running family from the past is now some of the big investors of basically blockading the public with these port PPP like the Nassau port.
Those who do not like it do not eat it. Do what you did before this program came into force. The food does not look that bad and I am sure to at truly hungry child who is in poverty it is fantastic. If the parents have the means to do better then cook you childs breakfast or send it with them like you do now. People are so sad and petty. The only slight ounce of criticism I can say is maybe they should have a fruit included like a few banana slices or a couple slices of apple. These people need to get a life.
Can we charge BPL a fee for when we have to maintain our own generator to have reliable power, That is the cost of the generator, fuel, servicing costs etc.?
What a bunch of A-ho$ls. I am not a big fan of more government programs but, what do they want? Stew fish, eggs benedict, maybe bagels and lox? This is a great thing for kids who have nothing. If you do not like it and can do better, then feed your kids breakfast at home before school. Just shameful. Tuna and grits is a Bahamas breakfast go too even for people with expendable income. I wonder how many of these people waiting in that Wendy;s drive through line out on cable beach that never ends.
Doing anything right now that would be inflationary is really bad for everyone and all businesses. A 90 dollar increase in min wage would only cause more inflation and prices to rise and probably layoffs and business closures for those just hanging on.
