The Bahamian people got what they deserved nothing, because that's exactly what the PLP has done from they have taken office, show me an investor?i hate to say it but our way of life will be changing for the worse if government don't get their act together, first thing crime, the hell with the privy council!hang those murderers, flog the rapist, give 30 years for arm robbery, caught with a gun;10 years you see how quick crime will drop .minor infractions, make them work, hard labour from 7 to 5 that will teach them a lesson.as for the economy, successive governments F.N.M and the PLP have failed in their efforts to make us a sustainable nation, the imports this country relies on in order to feed its population is out of this world,we import every single thing, alot of these items mainly food, can be produced locally,Florida is less than 100 miles away and we don't have a major dairy farm?livestock is almost non existant?Andros is our answer, but the idiots we put in the house are lost!

I think we are being unreasonable and not fair to the teachers of this country, majority of them do a damn good job, what they are not compensated for,i came up through the public education system and I fared well, the majority of these kids do not want to learn, simple.you know why?the parent probably dropped out of school at a young age to bear them so to hell with an education,i graduated in 1990 during on of the most crucial times in our history, jobs were almost non existant at that time, but today, even though jobs are scarce, they are out there if you are qualified.nobody is going to hire you just because you are a Bahamian, you need at least a basic education and we are lacking in that area, but I hope we as a people get it together, because this still is the best little place in the world despite our problems and I believe things will get better for all if we move forward as one.

Who is stopping the young man from investing?like a lot of wealthy Bahamians, they tend to keep their money where they can see it,they usually take the easy way out, apartments, apartments?have you ever looked in the papers and see the amount of apartments on rent?the drug guys started it off now the number guys are killing it?easy way out is the norm for most ill gotten gains,so I would not expect some investment which requires "work' in order for it to succeed, there are many Businesses people with the money could have invested in,why we don't own a hotel?not a rat and roach motel,a hotel, employ some people, open up warehouses, foodstores, entertainment centers for families and the list goes on,there are many things so don't say they cant invest, they don't want to invest.simple

The voice of the people is the voice of god.they wanted the PLP and they got it,hook line and sinker;only an idiot had to believe that bull what the PLP campaigned on,but alas they were so fed up with Hubert Ingraham they would have believed anything,Huberts gone now,i would like to know who they are going to blame now?

Prison is a place of punishment, not a hotel, while I agree that the conditions at H.M.P are deplorable and can be more humane towards the inmates. The prison has a lot of talent, but the authorities that's responsible is not tapping into this talent, let them grow their own food, raise livestock keep them occupied, some of those youngsters made a mistake and they deserve a second chance, the magistrate in sentencing can use his/her discretion when they feel that an offence is minor give them community service, there is lots of work to do around New Providence, put them in the schools let them paint, weed, pick up debris, etc.so there is a lot we can do to correct the problems at the jail.

Keep up the good work Mr Miller, keep the heat on some of those greedy selfish hogs who work there, some people don't have a job but those selfish suckers want to take everything home for themselves.

I do agree that Bahamians should come first in the country when it comes to employment, but sometimes;we are not going to have a choice in some instances,we will have to sometimes have an expatriate who is properly qualified for the job,i agree it could have been handled more professionally, common courtesy, simple.we as Bahamians have to hold ourselves to high standards we will celebrate forty years of independence come july 10,this is one of the most prosperous countries in this hemisphere, but we have a lot to improve on,mainly our law enforcement agencies it is just a few who make it bad for the good ones.

Whether it provides jobs or not it is still deemed illegal,The Commissioner is charged with upholding the law,i think he will do whatever is right,he did warn whoever is doing it to stop,so if anybody gets caught in a raid they were warned,as for the number guys,i dont feel sorry for them at all, they made lots of money off the backs of poor people, they say they donate to charities?Carifta was just held a few weeks ago ask if any of them donated a bottle of water!they are all for their greedy selves, some people squander every dollar they get in these ''houses''chasing a dream, because thats all it is,i heard some people state that numbers help them make ends meet?thats bullsh....t!if thats the case then we wouldnt had so many people complaining about losing all of their money, some put every dollar and lose it,week after week and this has been going on for couple of years well, the only person wins, the number man.

what we are experiencing now took years to escalate, these young girls are the product of lousy irresponsible parents, the two must take the blame, with all of the illegitimate births we had over the years what you think was going to happen?i remember going to a P.T.A meeting and I couldn't tell who had on the slackest clothing the mother or the daughter,so this all starts from in the home, mothers not being mothers and the bums what impregnated them nowhere to be found, but if you want to find them,it isn't hard the nearest bar or club, thats what the majority of our young people are faced with, the lack of a loving, responsible parent,if more parents be there for their children a lot of things will change in this country,i just hope things will change for our young people, they are the future of our country.
