Its a pity that so many of our young men choose to live a life of complete violence, nothing seems to deter them from this life, what I am afraid of is the innocent by stander who gets caught in the crossfire, what the lawmakers of this country need to do 10 years mandatory sentence for the possession of an unlicensed firearm, lets hang the murderers, flog the rapist and throw away the key on armed robbers.
The Banks are in business to make money, not to lose it,i don't know how in hell the government could expect the Banks to write off so much interest! As for some Bahamians, they might honestly need help, but some off them can pay their mortages, they just wont pay it,they are doing everything else; new car, vacations, school fees etc, they have money for what they want it for, typical freeloading suckers always want something for nothing.
The people have voted no,the court has dimissed the appeal it is now time for the relevant authorities to do their jobs and stop making excuses. The government created this mess,if they had taken responsibility for it in the first place none of this back and forth wold have been going on,the only people who will feel is the people who work there, dont mind those hogs"number bosses"bout they care about jobs, they don't care about nobody but themselves
you are right that an individual has a right to do with his or her money, but everybody may not be as responsible as yourself,i have heard that foolishness all over the place, numbers help them pay bills?thats bullshit!unless you are winning everyday,i don't see it happening,i know a lot of people who play hundreds of dollars a month on numbers, the losing outnumber the winnings, but the thing is,they have that little extra to play, the majority of people don't,so they spend what little they have chasing a dream, thats all it is "everybody wins' ?the only person wins is the house they never lose.
is the minister aware that almost everybody in high society has a foreigner working in their homes?including the majority of his colleagues?Mr Minister I applaud your efforts to put Bahamians first but,its not going to work, the honest ones who did that work before are few in numbers, the ones that are left are at the minim.um ,then some just want to get paid and to hell with the work,so its going to be difficult, the average Bahamian is just not into that work for the minimum wage, what you need to do is stop issuing permits in the corporate section, many Bahamians are qualified for these jobs you need to sort that area out sir,Bahamians are tired of these foreigners taking jobs that can be filled by them,so lets not worry about the little fish, lets get the big ones first.
We should not condemn the police force, like any other organization you are going to have bad apples,i am positive that there are many dedicated officers who believe in doing the right thing,as for the commissioner, sir you don't need permission to do your job from nobody, you are the commissioner of police! The public awaits your action, murders, robberies, rapes, etc we are tired of being afraid in our homes, when we go out at night, nowhere is safe, these young lousy uneducated men don't want to do no better but terrorise innocent people we need action now!
