Commissioner, you now have to enforce the law, those web shop operators are nothing but a bunch of parasites feeding on the backs of poor people, because that's who usually buy numbers,a number house is on every corner in the inner city,i don't see any in the upscale areas ,they take advantage, selling dreams what never materializes "everybody wins" ? that's bullsh....t the only person wins is the number house, now that money could go to feeding some neglected child or pay whatever bill they have instead of giving it to those thieves portraying themselves as legitimate business men.
The Honorable Prime Minister, has made a grave mistake,by pandering to these unions, they were rude, disruptive and totally out of order.Aggression sometimes have to be used whether some like it or not,we all know the demonstration was mainly over their shift system, the greedy suckers just want overtime at our expense,if they want to strike, let them then fire all of their backsides and hire someone who wants a job,the carribean is full of experience,Bahamian people have to stop acting like somebody owes us a job and when things don't go our way we strike,we are only destroying ourselves and our fragile economy.
I don't know the facts about Mr Moncur and his arrest so I cant speak on that, but I know Mr Moncur to be outspoken on national issues, what offends many, but I think the police could have just questioned him and let him go,after all the gruesome photos of a young woman was posted online also and we have yet to hear something..........................................
I really don't care what bill Mr Leslie Miller has,as far as Im concerned he is the Chairman of B.E.C like it or not,Mr Miller you have my full support, this what b.e.c needed!!!!!!!and when you finish with B.E.C you need to come into the public service and clean that up,get rid of all of those people who are just collecting a salary and are way past their retirement time, there are countless young people out there looking for employment.
for many years B.E.C workers were making excessive overtime, yes you are correct about the workers,it is the lousy managers who sit on their a.....es and think they are smarter than everybodyelse but are not contributing no sort of plan or action in order for them to provide us with the service we deserve, because we pay them a very good salary,i say cut all of their salaries from the GM DOWN,we should see some results by then,i sure he would not mind taking a pay cut him and his managers, they should lead by example
Bahamian people are sick and tired of unions, everytime they protest 9 out of 10 times it is for some employee who ain do nothing,?B.E.C. like every other government corporation is a who you know job,so governments dug this grave for themselves, now they are trying to rectify a problem which is going to be very difficult,my opinion privatize that will end the problem right there.
