isn't the Central Bank Banking Regulator has not resolved past crowds of protestors' protest outside the Central Bank? Isn't just recently there was complaints on the govt been mandating employees to open up their accounts at the govt bank which is listed on BISX and competes with other licensed banks also trading on BISX?
Now the Central Bank has an Ombudsman to deal with consumer complaints and isn't the office located in the Central Bank building? Who pays the Ombudsman salary? Isn't they getting subsidized lunches at the subsidized Central Bank staff cafetaria across the parking lot?
The Central Bank regulator needs to answer the separation between the Regulator of banks with a series of consumer complaints and the role of the Ombudsman representing the complaints of the financial consumers from the beginning.

Law abiding citizens just tired of paying regressive VAT taxes and seeing all the taxes at the deprivation of their law abiding majority population going towards cleaning up --- and cleaning up --- and cleaning up --- all these illegal shanty town harmful mess.
There must be some law and order in this country and those who are responsible for not keeping the law and order must be fired!
Majority of law abiding population are tired and want their regressive VAT going towards the benefit and betterment of the hospitals, schools and infrastructure in our beloved Bahamaland.
For the population in a land mass defined by christian principles and the rule of law, it is never a a nation for sale. Its not the nation which ain't going no place, its the people.
What it is, is a countable number of individuals whose adverse actions or inactions to christian principles and rule of law are allowed to make it appear so, and for periods of time without corrective actions allowed.

Shouldn't it be that if the Bahamian government was a party, then there should be some fair play on moral grounds be in place?
Some fair play is needed especially when the country does not exist in a vacuum and to a large extent is dependent on foreign investors.
