Regionally...easnt the IMF just finish advising Haiti....on increasing fuel prices.....and true to form the Haitian govt did......despite knowing its own people better.....and nest thing the people burning tires amd rooting in the streets...??....and the Haitian govt catch sense an reverse following the IFM advice......
Bahamas also only just recently been told economy tirned the corner.....an next ting ua know it aint so....and next ting vat..taxes...almost double increase....?????.......

....other factors at play...dynamics of small island.....such small groupings of families ...even to extent share same defectibe breast cancer genes...even recently syrongly supported equal rights issue for women but "small island society" went against it....small island still holds resentment against rights LGBTQ.....then the practical reality of shopping in same foodstore where number of persons who have murdered island families still walking around...deep psychological issues....fixing nations socials ills...I am all for that ...

The authorities need to have a serious look at the overall Crime and Punishment as it exists on a small island , wid the key words small island.......Crime just seems to pay or gone limp one looks at the way the justice system operates....hundreds or thousands of cases backlogged..?????.......where it appears it seems persons are caught red handed in the criminal act.....,murder, tiefing.....but a few mornings later that same person can be in the ....same small island...foodstore line in front of you .....it would seen to appear that a lot of killings are vengence...retribution...now seems to have even dd..."contract killers"..."hitmen"....persons are just seeking instant judge...jury...executioner......and civil liberty tossed aside.....who can blame someone if they have to be arresting someone for the umpteenth time if they have or perceived to have done a crime on a loved one....agsin on this small island.....start the town meetings....call in the experts...move forward stead of erratically bouncing from shootings in the head....bloody picture video....
Lack of an lasting..effective justice system for all is needed where all parties can feel satisfied .....and the matter fades away overtaken by constructive nation building

Didnt....the COB ....employee alleged ly using some 4 banks ...case of illegally taking some $700 k from employer only came about cause COB been investigating.....dodnt the BPL case with alleged company and account at the bank only discovered after some BPL investigations.....if credit is due it should be to the victims vigilance....for finding out someting wrong.....not the aithorities supposed to have all these measures in place to protect the people....!!!

Chamges needs to happen for the many pore prople who suffer in silence.....there is littlt to show that the rich, wealthy, upper echelons, beautiful people ...(.except a few with a really biggest biggest heart an brains)....ever have the slightest understanding of the majority who happens to be the ..pore, ....downcast, ....wretched, ....heartbroken, ....impoverished, .abject poverty, malnurished...marginilized...victimized....who keeps getting....ripped off by.....hifalutin professionals..eye doctors who gives you bad glasses...dentists who mess up.....doctors who operate on you and the foreign doctor abroad who tells you what wrong was done....lawyers who mess you up.....Building contractors who rips you off..joke they seem to do the same to govt too....bankers who mess yoou up.....banks who do wrong to you and then sells ya house....banks who sells ya house wid you still in it.....car mechanics who rips you off....the list goes on and the pore downttodden......no help....programs that dont work.....plenty bull.....but no help......there is no Ombudsman....no Financial Consumer Protection Bureau.......there is simply nothing ...for the small ordinary man...but to bear ya chaff....as the injustices ...just wind tings up tighter.....more stress on ya plate....pressure up.....

What seems to be drastically needed is an ombudsman and office that deals with pore bahamian citizenry challemges...consumer complaints.....where a lot of vital information can be had for free .....from the pore people seeking help....Govt should not have to wait until a crises before jumping up and screaming .....then tings calm down till the next crises...the pore ..downtrodden...oppressed....victimized...suicidal....ripped off...bank victims...insuramce victims....legal victims.....doctors..dentistsmedical people who rips off the pore.....contractors who rips off people...look even the govt construction contracts goes wrong costing double....plenty pore people needs to have some office to deal with for helps....the tension in dis country is simply too high when radical tings happening....

So..... the govt is looking for revenue....easy one.....now that there are additional benefits say live in maids...... in hiring foreign maids.....the Real Property Tax office should look into the portion of the residemce the foreogn worker resides in as having a monetary value that has not been taxed before.....amd apply a Property Tax based on the applicable portion ratio of residence used as in rental ....equilivent rental purpose.....!!!!
