- Gambling .....to be profitable....... extracts more money from its customers ....including what is paid in ......salaries..utility bills....business licence fees..advertising......
- Gambling.....is not just isolated to what happens inside the closed doors of its business shop.....there are enormous devestating costs....to the pore user and family where there are limited economic opportunities to work and provide food ..pay light bill, medecine....the lure by top marketing gambling pprograms to lure persons to turn a .....10, 25 cents into the odds stacked against them ...winnings....the chances of gambles ever winning more than a gambling house is never more than what they would ever gamble and if so slim or gambling houses would be out of business.
- the end results of 30 to 50,000 persons gambling results in .....huge profits for a few owners ..which if redirected can pose disruptions in other businesses
- cash flows of these gambling operations need to be monitored in terms of posing liquidity ....threaths....to the normal countrys operating Central Banks operations with govt policy, employment, cpmmercial banking operations, foreign exchange operations, maintaining adequate provisions for foreign curriency purposes...interest rates....etc..?they cannot withhold currenvy...and then dump currency as the numbers housed pleases....that is not a mere threat....that is using currency for financial terrorism....affecting the entire sovereign nation....and all others with whom the nation does business, trading with, imports etc..and hurting the pore/poor people again.

Our system of government needs to be reviewed in that in any democratic vote by MPs the needs of those in Nassau having majority of seats on one island will get attention....leaving our citizens in the many other family islands wanting.....we should also look at the many aspiring ...impassioned pleas and plans of prospective MP ...but sadly fail to deliver because of the follow the party vote....we need to look at those MPs who after elected do not seem to be available or like some of those in the past who just did not appear to keep a constituency office....I do admire the efforts of Roc wid Doc to try and cater to some of these by being the CEO of a company where he can run it like a CEO instead of taking on the consuming task of a ministerial portfolio like Finance...his accomplishments in having office in Family Islands to touch the people... the pore .. is excellent..vision to try the over the hill empowerment creating jobs tax breaks....excellent....trying to enable by subsidizing the sale of lots and buildinng of homes excellent...as a CEO the needs of most of the people can be met ...mabye not all at the same time.

There is no place in Nassau which can be said to be underground....everyplace is know by many.....every general and dere MP ...done knows where every voter is....and what who does what..who is working and how many voters in yor house...where every business is...every shantytown....outside toilet....

Say it aint so, but a majority of vehicle owners seem to go to the many backyard bush mechanics using the apparently cheapest resused replacement parts in plain sight of the authorities who seem not to certify them in terms of operating legitimate businesses.
Say it aint so that when yinna fix yinna vehicle for one problen dat soon after or within reasonable time someting else go wrong dat yinna has to find yerself back dere to fix another prpblem...?

What is termed a salary....is in fact many cases a ....welfare fund....where many MPs use their salary to assist those constituents with dire, emergency, cathostropic emergencies.....it is a known secret that many MPs do not talk about.
What is needed is a combining of the separate Urban Renewal offices with their expenses with the Constituency Offoce where they have similar functions into a Community based centre also liasing with Churches, volunteers, charitable groups, volunteer Bureau ......to coordinate and combine forces to uplift, educate and bring relief to the pore, shutins, handicapped and suffering.
