@ DDK nice points.

On the third point from the last BoB what is first needed is to determine....how many loans got through when bank policies are universally and commonly preset to mathematically etc qualify....and with the bank having the option to decline.

If examined and faults found then fraud must arise and bank officers must account for their actions.
As a matter of fact if negligence or lack of due care and attention then persons need to be brought to justice.
The Bank has all the files and this should not be a problem even after years later. 35-4

These wealthy politicians just seem to live in a different world.
In 2017 elections the majority just had enough and voted in a historic 35 to 4 victory for politicians for change.
Some 50,000 below ppverty line, 75 - 100,000 people struggling depemding on family and charity to survive, crime killings the leading cause of death, HIV at the highest levels, most ever people on welfare, unemployment spme 10,000 jobs promised never reached.1 in 8 going to bed hungry., mmass advertising by web shops decimating Family island communities where unemployment done high........and get dis govt Budget to increase taxation on the aforementioned poor (pronounced pore by the poor peole) plans kept in secret as of ....get dis as though they pore done scrappin catchin hell....gon a amazingly find money to stock up.....dese politicians have no clue whatsoever the people (historic 35- 4) was voting for after some 2 billion dollars VAT was efficiently extracted fron the people pockets....goin through...
Nice try Doc Sands for trying to help the Finance Minister out.
...........
On another note keeping the budget a secret until the last minute without imputs from knowledgable sources like , Messrs Myers, Moura, Gowan Bowe and the peoples other elected Representatives is a black eye for representation of the people ....this is just as bad as the people voting no to the gambling referendum and a few in govt went against the democractically held majority people voting no.

All dis talk from Roc eid Doc is worser than expected cause he should know by now dat the Bahamian people done knows dat money is needed to pay dese runaway national debt, interest, bills.people done knows dat.
It is only the way to go about it is the problem an whichin way is best

What is evenin worser is to have any talk bout lose election cause dat bring no end of odder problems ....like we needin to have confidence to assure foreign investors to come cause we needs FDI...an people here want stability....this country was built thrpugh plenty struggle...amd the mostest biggest parliament ever 35 to 4 .done have the mandate to go find the bestest solution to govern fer the pore people.....aint no time fer no tantrum an wanna take yinna ball an go home...pick yaself up ..dust off wipe ya bruise an play ball!!!.

in one of the wwealthiest....richest..most affluentest.....bahamian mps .?members of parliament ever elected.....affluentest businessmen...higghest salaries earning proffessionals......cept fer dat one youngster MP from Bain Town wjo just finishing school.....it would strongly appear that dey does not have the faintest idea of what the 75,000 to 100,000 thousand Bahamian pore is going through........

People laid off....dey actually tek bread outta ya mout...the firstest set of VAT done tek outta the pore people pocket whatever little money they had...now the richest set of mps parliamentarians now done allreddy calculate how much more these same now poorer 7.5 % VAT people gan pay...an get dis ...after the crying even from some of the just ontop poorer who ..the parliamentarians...get dis asking fer other solutions....it already done jump outta dere mouts how dey think bout the pore. Mudda sic.

noone disagrees that taxes are desperately needed to reduce the runaway nation debt...interest...finamcing costs....unpaid bills...!!!!!!!!!!

What is unacceptable is that despite claims of widespread curruption...victimization...slackness...noone has yet gone to jail for the leak from the hole in the bicket to stop !!!!!

What is unacceptable is why the poor (pronounced pore) whichin unless you pore you dont understand the struggle ...sufferin....grinding poverty....that the 75,000 to 100,000 Bahamians ate going through. And why should they carry the load.....when the rich, connect, buddy, collecting regular paychecks and many govt agencies losing money continues to be propped up fron the sweat of the pore.

Start selling these govt agencies stead of tryinng to save yinna family friends who gets appointed to dese Boards they ate appointed to.

When businesses struggle they offload assets to gain cash to survive, pay bills...many Bahamian businesses do that.

'Common sense dictates that you call the on duty police to deal with the issue.'
How many of us or friends or families have done that and the good officiers have promptly showed up? And how much time have we spent going down to the station giving statement? And how promptly have we been notofied that the culprits have been caught? And how much time have we not slept knowing the culprot is out on bail? This Police Officer should be given a promotion, pay increase, an off duty kevlar vest and a medal for bravery.

Havent the govt whose predecessors chose to close down the Hotel Corp of the Bahamas and get out of the hotel business not realize this is a business they should stay out of and let the other parties at the table do the negotiations...???....why should a paltry hundred million and some be any more difficult in negotiating...?????....than spending some past 5 years in official Opposition negotiating at the parliamentary table with the other side of govt hunderds pf millions of dollats in wastages etc and now wants to make the people who was not sitting or privaliged or paid ..... at the parliamentary table pay for it with new consumer VAT taxes...?????
