these figures are nothing new,!!!!

The authorities have known this from countless statistical data. If yinna con figure out what Bahamians can afford in terms of paying for a under 30,000 piece of land amd 50% duty reduction on house then its obvious you can figure out what happenin......

Innvestigations are needed how so many Bahamian mortgage borrowers got loans the couldnt repay some 4,000 ....and they could not all be wrong....where banks and loan officers are found to be negligent...acting without due care and attention....they should be penalized like those in the US where wrong banking practices have been found.....
Fairness and juustice should apply to the pore, disadvantaged, who dont get help and not only to the powerful an rich..,!!
Right now beds needed for the pore in pmh...dey lookin to take away $2 follar can corn beef dat can feeds four people....right now pore Bahamians getting kicked oit of cheap rent in shantytown....2,500done get lay off .....BUT if yinna getting promotions done job before elections you gettin first chance to buy affotdable subsidized house...aint fair to da pore, tired masses yearning fer better...not bitter

Apart from all the various senarios and contract has a number of parts which when put together makes it feasible and with contingencies.
Cheapest aint always the best.
Every banker loan officer knows all the procedures ....to get a project ..successfully done and with contingencies....
Doing one mile dont mean the other mile will cost the same. Getting it done the fastest dont mean the best. Have to access resources than you cannot think you will need otherwise you stop and difficult to restart.etcrtc
Have to look at those who go in cheap and retrieve all da profits intentionally built in first stages, typically happens and then find excuses to legally walk off project.....some really smart contractors out there who can actually make more profits doing this than another who can get the entire job done and make less. Other factors equipment, financial background...but does not nevessarily guarrantee....labour force skills availibility....equipment...materials..taking care of workers...contingencies....benefits to the community....its not just take a look an make a decision....even wid the best you have to hav performance bonds, qualified inspectors to do stage inspections, and yet things can go wrong.
Recent case would be the Abaco Coopers Town Shipping Harbour ..despite ok from eia construction went ahead and undergroind challenges appeared causing delays ......careful analysis needed...heavy is the head dat wears da crown..an good pr helps a lot to successfully carry dis out fer the pore, sic, disabled, other people to enjoy good water..

....ah yes..... but these are officials wearing the Bahamian flag on their lapels ...following their legislated laws that ...Bahamians must pay taxes to educate another countrys children !!!!......

bogart says...

...bey, cant win fer losing...one minute dey saying plenty Bahamians allso living in der shantytowns ...next minute dey is Haishuns living dere....so who is all the politician catering to cause ...they both done broke der law of building illegally......
What we really need dead bad.....is fer any Bahamian politician to remember dere oath of serving the Bahamian peoples country first....try an do the Abraham Limcoln thing and preserve the nation......one Bahamas government of the people...by the people and for the people........an try pass legislation to discourage illegals risking their lives at sea to bring their children for free schooling and making it illegal for Bahamian School officials to ask children for documented identification whether they are illegal or Bahamian so that they can benefit from the 300 million dollars in Education that Bahamians pay in taxes fer it.....off of the backs of der pore Bahamians

...yep VAT is extremely efficient....majority of the citizens who it catches are the pore whose portion of small paycheck if any is greater than those wealthier citizens who is affected lesser degree as was the initiial arguement when implemented, but then we have more wealthier legislators than pore ones to stamd up
.....what also wss a winfall was the busonesses who appears to have increases prices first to cover the administration costs and then added the 7.5% and then rounded figures to eliminate as much coins and ajusted. What we needed was the prpgressive income tax but many businesspersons would cheat not paying themselces full salary but taking it out in dividends not trapped by NIB.
