Thank you for your service. We survived as a nation better than many other nations.
Praise or condemnation must be taken in light of that we are a Democratic parliamentary nation with checks and bslamces and to every decision good or bad there was an Official democratically opposition party whose job is not just to sit across the table.
We the people do not want passive silent acquisence but ferocious, vigorous arguments.
, protests, carry on dead bad.Use the committees agencies to invrstigate, are we still waiting for MPs to publish their lawfully required finsncial statements?
All sides seem to be connected or as the DNA was saying the other two parties are the same coin.
Regardless who wins we have a nomenklatura related politicians, both sides
The role of the Opposition needs to be reevaluated in that with small numbers it can become overwhelminging to fully do justice and bring good representation to a significant percentage of the voting population. Apart from cries of gerrymandering it is evident that we can have significant percentage of voters for an
Opposition but only receiving a few seats and less time to oppose and then the people having to wait years and then doing the reverse voting pattern.
Look where we come from in the majority of voters used to get a few seats and the few voters winning most of the seats in parliament to now where we still have a significant percentage voters still getting a few seats and limited opposition.

Downright embarassing for learned persons in the nomenklatura to have run the country into the ground and the fiasco with Resolve and noone held accountable as the peoples money squandared in paying hundreds of millions of we the peoples sweat in VAT and sweat an sacrifices of businesses in taxes.

Hundreds of millions spent for repossessed properties not worth to value is what should be talked about before criticisms of the (current) nomenklatura.

Didnt the Guardian Business page screaming headling , Friday, Oct. 28.2016. Section B ,'Resolve loans were only worth $22.5M' by Guardian Business Editor.
Quote in story 'We completed a report that we're about to submit, and essentially what we're looking at now is that they transferred over 13 loans to us and when we've gone through and had yhem evaluated, we found that the value of the underlaying assets- the collateral- was substantially less than expected. It was a hell of a lot less." James Smith.

The bank needs to be invrstigated for this 75M difference plus others cause the new Minnis govt recent 750 million, can still be seen.

All sides, the foreign investor, the local investor, the govt, the nomenklatura, the voters and the people side need to be heard. Its the peoples time.
As a nation whose survival is dependent on investors, among others, every complaint by foreign or local investor needs to be examined.
Its the peoples time.

Profiling me as a prostitute likely means you are probably one of the few junkanoo spectators dressed in winter clothes with scarfs and ear muffs sitting in some top corner looking.
The way I dress enables me to dance, move, shake enjoy and participate in my culture to that infectous beat, kalik, kakik, kalik, hear the drum, the horn....everybody dancing.
The Police (state, religeous) or anyone else should not be making any statements that attempt or influence or alter the expression on how junkanoos should now dress unless the law is broken and influence dancing enjoyment an express myself to my junkanoo..an shake...an wine. dey trying to rob us but not dis time, we ain gon get swing.
P.s..when we dress 'scantilly' we know it is not we who gon need protecting if we get groped. So be on the scene officer to save the groper.

Disappointed that in the interest of the sovereign nation no Commission of Inquiry has ever been initiated when mega investment projects utitizing the sweat and tears and birthright of the 375,000 Bahamian people has undergone massive change.
We have had the 4.9 billion Ginn project in West End, Grand Bahama wiith hundreds of acres pf the peoples birthright etc, the 175 million Atlantis restructuring of 175 million plus with ownership chamging from one dymamic visionary ownert with most favoroured nation status concrssions to Beaverbrook and then the BahaMar disaster again woth hundreds of acres of our birthright and still no Commission of Inquiry.
Arent we the people whose birthright it is and whose time it is ever deserving of a thorough Commission of Inquiry??? 40 Members of Parliament should not be the only ones in the know and noone held accountable.
Still waiting fot the Bank of the Bahamas just chaired by the former auditor general to be examined by thd current auditor general!!!

.......looking from other sides, while the disvussion is going on, should the bill become practicsl reality on this tiny island any man charged with this crime will have to kiss everything goodbye as sipsip, gapseed, grapevine will ensure that ultimate end.
Given the dynamics of this small society many men rightly or wrongly charged will pay a greater penalty and many women can become unjustly enriched (as well as many lawyers).

Sadly the pastors seem to abdicate this one beautiful opportunity to rise above and talk of love, faith, marriage, commitment and what it takes for a good marriage and put an end to this issue.
Yep theyre just sheep among the sheep ducking the opportunity to lead.
