Nowhere is there any act to lend or loan money out from the people funded coropration without interest and with terms and conditions.

Perspns acting as money lenders or financial services providers wothout lawful authorized authority must be jailed.

Investigations must be immediatey initiated to see what else is hoppening, auditors, accounting, management and most impottantly by govt appointed Board Of Ditectors. How could sums of electricity corp money be used in this manner AND interest free.

Monies withdrawn prevents proper running to privide synergies of any company to run effectively and efficiently. Operate fpr the mandate. Criminal investigations neefed.

Having a Integrity Committee formed to investigate integrity of govt officials ...................

How come nobody get jailed yet? If these are the circumstances that exist now, what was the citcumstancrs of those who got straight?

No country is entitled to make ANY one a citizen if there are any doubts anf as a matter of constitutional fact the Bahamas can revoke citizenship. To lower your constitutional ethical standards to feel obligated and entitled to offer citizenships is not any single persons perogative.

The answer would be for you to move into the penn buildingcomplex stead of wasting time collecting a peoples paycheck or being in a peoples positipn not helping the people.

25k pa salary is ok as it would be legitimately done and approved by management on one side and the Union on the other side.

What is crap is the govt who the people democratically elected then in some manner have cronies or appointees to management or Board of Directors who allowed it to happen.

Regretably none are ever punished for incompetamce, inept, lazy, intellectually dishonest, guilty of favouritosm or any action or inaction leading to the demise of the company or govt institution they are appointed to and the public is left to suffer or be deprived of these misused funds that could have made the public better

So far we the pore have had to support or suffer failings like the Supermarket where Bshamians are waiting for pension, support and guarranttee for Gulf Union bank depositors, Bahamar where funds used to pay workers, Clico where public funds are paying persons who are owed, Bank of the Bahamas where public funds used to support bank, bad loams given and no one punished for any failings, Bahamair, Water and Sewage, Bamsi damages, etcetc

Now that staff have run up loans at BPL while the pore Bajamians arr wothout lights should have someone accountable for this unfair use of public funds with some benefitting and the pore public have their lights turned off.

How criminally unfair it would be if some BPL employee or staff with a higher amount ownig is in the office goving instructions to disconnect a customers lights who owe a smaller balance.

A plus for being proactive!!

If only our Authorities was so proactive on protecting our Beloved Bahamaland.

...we would have been able to shut down all the then illegal numbers on a 7 by 21 mile island
...investigated how 1 billion in bad loans happened and all the bad loans at BoB and how they came about etc and millions in public money tied or noone found guilty
...jail any one depositing illegal money when caught or do a better job at catching them
...found out where all missing money gone
...stopped all the illegal migrants who keep coming and colonizing and repopulating our Bahamas.
...stopped all those blackout tinted cars, and church buses
...stopped all the illegal shanty towns
...stopped asking the public to identify all those namrs in Ciyizenship newspapers ads and they dont have a picture for persons who could be bogus, terrorist, fugitive, etc

Cannot blame the US for these measures to protect their beloved country.

Settle the pension issue according to law. If the law has been good up to this point for the pore Black man then it should be good for all others.

Stop promoting persons into higher positions to resolve a problen is disappointing as this has been an ongoing issue as the Demeritte refrence indicates. And in this case where Demeritte went on as Chairman of the Bank of the Bahamas resulting in continuois increasing debts to the Bahamian public for hundreds of millions of dollars.

In the good Commissioners case the public through its MPs should have a say. Many doubts remain about the job like criminal inbestigations into any govt entity amd succrss in prosecuting those committing fraud, more white collar crime investigations instead all we are reading daily is some pore Black man alleged criminal tiefing or murder, the question as to how come the public knew where all the illegal number houses existed for decades and yet they continued to exist illegally until legalized despite the Bahamian voters voting against its legalization. Part of the illegal number houses operations existed while the Commissioner was in charge..

While I am somewhat certain there are some advances on crime, we the public just seem to be short changed and such a small opposition seem heavily burdened to be effective.

Pore Bahamians dont have money an never did to hire no Haitian ONLY those Bahamians with high incomes could.

The end result with 100% debt service ratio from having unfairly dispenced the countrys money for Bahamians it went to provide benefits for illegals

. Huge sums to send fire trucks to put out their illegal shanty town fires, huge sums to buy boats and pay for gas to apprehend them
