@whatsup.These horrible continuation and increasing rapist brutalization of little girls needs to stop.
There is a woefully lifetime of harm, mental scars, pain horrible recollection of horrible crime inflicted and effects on her family and others that the little girls have to endure and needs to be uplifted as a heroine that is trying to survive ----- and the arrested rapist surviving into disguise and life forward ----- needs to be has his name be publicized and his name and photo is to be boldly advertised on billboards for the nation. Furthermore, the rapist needs to be put into a room and have an educated conversation with 100 trutru Bahamian men who have young daughters so that the message can be relayed to others.
In the circumstances of this nation at the time, this story is a significant message on the frailty of man. This man and Pastor, always on the road with his bicycle between traffic that I always admired his courage and bravery. Being a Pastor and in communication with our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, he is indeed blessed that in his deeds and actions for God, he was indeed being called further up the road to heaven. May he rest in peace.
"In 2022, BDOCS’ Internal Affairs Unit investigated 56 misconduct complaints involving prison officers. Nearly 80 percent of those cases resulted in disciplinary action. Four complaints were related to inmate brutality. Two led to charges. The unit also looked into three allegations of trafficking; two resulted in disciplinary measures."
"In 2022, BDOCS’ Internal Affairs Unit investigated 56 misconduct complaints involving prison officers.
So what brutality happened in 2023 ---2024 --- 2025 to prisoners????
Something isn't right on those legal educated minds are getting world renowned highly prestigious awards ----- nominated by local officials ----- while this horrible tortuous ppain and suffering is being inflicted to these Fox Hill Prison prisoners AND on a constant nonstop basis prisoners are being taken to the Fox Hill Prison and many hundreds of accused offenders are on the non prison areas on dis 7 x 21 mile island with ankle bracelets and many also wind up in hostile/crime retaliatory incidence amid innocent bystanders.
Seems unequal ------- one (1) girl victim having to hide in a bathroom from bullying ----- versus ----- " her daughter was threatened by a group of boys, forcing her to hide in the bathroom during lunch breaks."Ms Johnson also claimed her daughter was taken to hospital after suffering “extreme and inhumane punishment” from the school’s administration, who reportedly made her stand outside in high temperatures during lunch for two days.
"Her daughter suffered dehydration and breathing difficulties—symptoms of respiratory spasm—and was admitted to hospital for treatment.
"Shortly after Ms Johnson informed the school of her daughter’s hospitalisation, she received a letter on March 20 notifying her of her daughter’s expulsion."
Simply shut the school down until this bullying criminal behavior stops and school officials guilty of not taking corrective action, perpetrators, and their parents are punished on leaving the mental scars on the victim and all others who are aware of this horrific situation.
Fully agree with the former Speaker of the House of Assembly.
More of these articles that erodes our sovereign Bahamaland democracy should be on the front pages of the free press.
Another recent article of the awarding of the highest honours of the KC, King's Council should also be investigated as to the criteria for the honours to be awarded.
Somehow it would appear that in light of the seemingly highest numbers of these highly prestigious KC honours that our Bahamaland bestows on highly intelligent minds, does not seem to correspond to the Courts issuing punishments and for rehabilitation of criminals to be pooping into buckets at national Jail Fox Hill Prison and crowded like sardines into prison cells.
Impossible to be giving out and awarding Honours in the legal profession allegedly influenced by political forces and on the resultant side of criminal convictions Bahamians are still continuously confined to highly critical known torturous prison conditions controlled by the political forces elected to govern.
Hurrah! And kudos to these superlative advances that is taking place in Bahamian medical care.
Also what is needed is the health insurance coverages long overdue to be provided by the govt. for the Medical staff employed, instead of ill staff having to take large sums out of their small paycheck or borrow money to seek medical care from professionals.
It is a huge advancing step in medical staff to be doing such high standards of medical advances in treating their patients. Kudos to the Medical staff. !!!!!!
"A jet ski operator also believes the penalties will do the industry justice as “there’s a lot of slackness and there’s a lot of unstableness going on”.
All dis focusing and all dis yaddering and yaddering on laws and laws and enforcements ----- quite fundamental overlooked factor ----- is to teach these Tourism business operators on the industry ----- starting wid interviewing and hiring with rigorous procedures of employees with documented certificates of skills, character references etc. for the jobs just like any other employers running a licensed Bahamian business enterprise.
The onus should not be entirely on the government on running the businesses for them but on the Business Operators on running their own business properly and greater discipline !!!!
Takes a responsibility from the fathers who make children outside of their marriage in not having to take care of their children breakfast and likely the mothers on being less careful if a child is born, from any father wid sugga on the tongue and to have more sex.
