Many attempts for diversifying has few taking grip ....having to deal with critters...snakes...frauds..hoops....little legislation to protect ....no financial ombudsman...etcetc. Surprising always these decades by persons wheeljng, dealing, advising making numerous very good advices as paid employer expert position..even starting back to advising relative on saving newspapers money and despite still having to lend to newspaper ......... Ironic decades when any prospective entrepreneur could quickly get big loan for expensive luxury car than get loan for business....why even had one foreigner banker telling that financial institution is not venture capital and yet intenting to stay and remain as valuable Bahamas status to build....why for decades the Govt and all its its Nation building salaried Govt quasi boards sat on their behinds made economic predatory foreign institutions have programs for their profits giving loans for second hand cars...instead of other sectors..why even govt with regulayor allowing bank it controlled with unusually large potiticians with loans default and bailed out with taxpayers money assets valued much less.....diversification...repeatedly solution but little traction...why even goes back to BARTAD independence gift for farms to take place in Andros but the cows wind up starving on the sides of the road.......unless swamp is drained.......on and on and on...

Govt authorities after repeated.and repeated..and repeated hurricane travelling warnings.....there should have a better controlled stampede....Govt immediate controls Warnings would bave better allocation of budget manage by people instead stock pile of toilet paper..happens many countries.....and adequate tissue on island. On seeing elderly persons on line.....must also bear in mind that slick Bahamians use elderly to be on lines catering to elderly lines for their uses....Good suggest nevertheless, but I have seen aware cashiers and persons on line to ask others to help pregnant, those on crutches etc ahead. ......And yes there are some downright wicked and unchristian behaviour well dressed women and men..starting from the parking lot...Mudda if you want to see behaviour then do as someone I heard does to avoid being targeted for robbery and dress down with old clothes and go out in public.....

Excellent point Mudda...There is the process of mothballing the hotel and turning off equipment, saving wear and tear saving electricity. Empty stockpiles that will spoil, shelf life, wrappers packaged items aged likely changed future productions etc. Mothball most or all hotel and dispense spoilable items, shelf life compromised, items immediately critical use to employees to better survive. Etcetc.

@mudda there are a few who jumps us to promote the illegal dispicable human trafficking which is an extremrly profitable business and who for decades never have to have rings or organization caught. They are knowledgable and know when to support and dissuade Bahamians from opening up and dissuading by their untruths, misleading, double talks, confusion of the stopping of the illegal human rights trafficking and the harm to trafficked humans and affects to soverign nation.

The general dynamics of the jitney operation. The owner of the bus usually has an agreement with the driver to earn and hand over a fixed amount to owner during the week and afterwards......the driver is then make his earnings the remaining days of the week as his income. The bus fuel maintenance etc has some arrangement perhaps as an portion which is taken from weekly earnings.....these first arrangements for bus and owner has forced the driver .....to what happens in a very competitive route the driver will race the heck to overpass others to collect customers, totally reckless driving habits to earn the owners portion. Over the years this very common reckless illegal dangerous jitney operations on the road is the method of owners generating most income. There are other variations involved it seems when the plate is "rented" from someone not owning the bus and driver may or may not be a owner,involving another party requiring fee for bus same arrangement to earn salary remaining days of the week. Looking at income as salary involves dividing number of bus trips per day route on generally 36 seater buses and cost fee students and adults. Govts would have known cause of bus jitneys recklesses for years but "plates" seem to have been obtained through some political connect as political rewards. The other taxi plates issued by either political parties also issued seems same format and despite glut competition no reforms seem sucessfully likely as owners getting plates from both parties refusing to rock the boat for each other. Other motorists complain. Sad.

He should by now been well better knowledge on construction....from all the fiascos of Govt projects.....wasting hundreds of millions, billions of money.......but seems to have been still needing more. In the .....private area of construction projects financed by Banks ....versus ....Govt from the Peoples Cookie Jar. ...Getting to the Bank have incurred mega money costs by the owner incurring interest fees paid etc...bridging...mobilization ...interest...and interest continues every minute ....Stages ...cannot stop when materials and labourers rental equipment cannot come together in sync...cannot put on plywood on roof and stop it to be destroyed by rain....on and on...On the smaller worksites and others.. it is standard unspoken construction workers code for any workman to have any other man doing work close as even 3 feet to him....seems quite unlike the political business.

Seems politicians have for decades just want to fail the integral dynamics of the construction field. They have parlied thousands of valuable birthright citizens lands, assets into senarios costing nation billions dollars in lost returns, delays, stoppages of projects BAMSI fire no insurance structure , Baha Mar defects not turning over money affecting labour force, downgrading country, look at Ginn,....others, dont want to start counting construction, repairs to govt structures.... Sad.

Given all the gloom and doom, critisms, accusations ...coming by actions or inactions of the Govt, of many others...I also know there will be the coming ...levity...yes levity .....like the humerous fella from Labour who will tell nation according to his records the ...uneployment rate will be ....low figure, which leaves everyone schatching heads...like the next one who tells be end to electrical load shedding cutting on power but days later power cuts off, end result other reason no power....One main solution current crisis is putting foot forward, not backwards or sideways...and not even a shuffle of feet which should be kept for junkanoo.
