This hotel granted special privilages having the most favoured arrangement....in the nation ...by the Bahamian people to ecourage its growth and prosperity of this magnificant world well known hotel.....and now Bahamian Workers in the most worse of times Bahamian workers....facing crises having faced regressive Govt imposed VAT and even second wave of regressive VAT.........all workers struggling.....cupboards bare......little or no money....to meet thise extraordinary expenses..needing. money to buy life saving critical supplies for family, children, babies.....And now in the worse of times HOTEL wants... to have workers go home unpaid leave. This is the time of all times to help its workers and children with money to buy supplies to have a better chance of staying alive and not expose staff added risks and God forbid losing thoroughly trained well trained staff going home on induced? unpaid leave.

Quid pro quo between merchants and Govt.and crumbs for workers. NO worry or sweat for Merchants riding it out in Gated Communities fully stocked pantry and medecine cabinet and lounging it off on beach front.

The dilemna is the country's govt with a sole decision making powers....single political party..., no laws and regulations on anti Trust, Anti Competition, FOIA, no pressure groups, no real checks and balances political parties have to deal with because they seems intentionally refuse to have them challenged if and any shenanigans, cutting deals come up .....and if any are caught with blatent egregious wrongdoings, flawed contracts, date of execution of legislatine action,seems mechanisms inadequate to prosecute them. Seems should have given parents more than hours and perhaps better to run schools a few more days to have teachers to arrange online classes to keep children still occupied at home, keeping then updated and continuing with the essential course for students facing critical exams light BGCSE and others. Daily schoolday online connection teachers with students also can be test run in the future for other purposes beneficial to themselves and society. Perhaps can run online classes for select students in supervised home/class settings to decrease overpopulated classes, perhaps some advanced students can have advanced classes and those needing additional help getting it.

Some dont seems to want the othet political side to bring in companies that would not benefit their political echlons and cronies. 3.
