After half a year Bahamian authorities seems to have exhausted all their efforts to identigy these 50 plus souls as Bahamians.....Growing alarms that the some over deceased souls from a roughly hundreds of square yards in Shantytown Abaco cannot be identified. This ongoing Human Traffickers and their helpers who impose slavery like housing and inhuman conditions bringing these persons into Bahamas must specials laws to break this heinous, despicable Human Trafficking. Incredible govt can capture one woman passing a forged prescription in some ova the hill area and cannot for decades put a stop to heinous, despicable Human Traffi king.Way past time the govt should not be complicit in feebly flamming public and not yet catching the organizers, aiders, abettors Human traffickers. Bahamas is a sovereign state not a continuous country for sale for Human Traffickers continuing to prosper on dispicable heinous trade.

Sad indeed. Today's Tribune Editorial "Fix the flaws in our justice system" has cited the many times public and others have repeated PM view that the Bahamas has anually some 200M in corruption and figure as much as some 500M.
To the public seems many times reduced to begging for monies owed to them and like recent case Gambling workers contracts wrongly procedure dismasals reversed now to being owed money. Need we go into the Bank of the Bahamas Accounting Reports by canadian audit and other audit Reports done with public money and never revealed. and on and on.

.....hmmmm.....people dont seem to get fired, they gets transfered upwards...like being Senate President and consultant to cruise line accused much arguments all over about cruise ship dumping in nations waters....like then moving to coordinator Hurrricane recovery and govt Minister in place and Opposition member raising conflict.....then now Managing Director......seems next position in higher office..seems both parties do the same thing

Really sad after now half a year that these some 50 persons in mortuary from the Hurricane Dorian devastated the densely populated Marsh Harbour areas and these some 50 persons lost their lives.

These adults would have been working for others to earn a living....likely long hours very hard working ...some may have been somebody's housekeeper,...somebody's gardener,.....somebody's farm worker and doing other jobs speaking to employer.....good morning,...working along with others....someone calling them by name.....These deceased some 50 persons would have eaten in company of others...shared a plate of food....held some child in their arms...fixed some child's school uniform,......sat next to somebody in church.

Where are their employers, friends, relatives, ...anyone not coming forward ? More efforts needed to identify these souls.

There must be quick response to the stateless, illegals, and residents of the Mudd and Pigeon Pea Shantytowns whose shantytowns albeit illegal constructed and were demolished given immediate attention.

The world got to know via endless photos plastered of the demolished shantytowns....and...evoked sympathies worldwide for their immediate relief of what they called homes, despite for years their employers, sympathisers, persons keeping them in slavery conditions, deplorable sub human housing shantytowns homes without water, toilets children living there...shantytowns right in downtown Abaco, others shanties nearby... turned a blind eye to their employees.

Suitable Monies should be turned over to these yes illegals, shantytown owners of homes destroyed. Picture of the shantytown with homes destroyed evoking donations needs monies. Total hypocrites employers, many employers slave employed conditions wanting these persons to again flee to Andros and other shantytowns to survive and find every excuse to fool nation that the illegals and shantytown dwellers are okay.

Some 1,800 in Andros now. Other shantytowns now have more moved there destitute and having lost all possessions. Illegals migrants, shantytown homeowners, renters who have all destroyed need help...not govt counting money coming in and allocating to roads etc and not addressing these peoples lives.

Every financial govt revenue collecting areas must have checks and balances where every individual must have booklet on Rules and Employment Code of Conduct, unannounced snap checks, audits, even sting operation to test the effective operations. There must have been already other authorized persons to validate and verify no matter even the Pope was involved.The new computer platform must have proper coding to match off with invoices and only certain authorized personnel ability to override. Flags should be raised on suspicious transactions and investigated. And the important factor must be very deterring penality.
Always surprising to see that when the govt wants laws and regulations to be in effect by the public like not wearing seat belts in cars have stiff penalties, alleged culprits alleged putting officers in fear of life being shot ..... but seems no comparative strict controls on its own Govt controlled agencies by themselves and management still getting monthly salaries and $1,400 Crristmas bonus, red plate use of govt vehicles.

......not only a joke...but bizarre..An organization of some 2,000 lawyers many very highly intelligent, top qualifications...and the top political positions populated from select few top law firms...and..many top carrots in govt selected by political party coop few select seems family friends to serve the political directions mandates....and the govt political party selects from the few top firms with their selected lawyers..usually partners of few firms ...govt posts rewatds the few taking silk...and public knows obvious of govt appointed positions more few seems again connected... selected out of thousands in Association many highly skilled worked for years etcetc.........and the thousand plus lawyers not politically affiliated just seems to do the feeble protest and let it go on for decades and still being members or same association espousing top fair democratic standards.....

Well last time Govt official was sitting on the massive Baha Mar hotel Board of Directors funded by the peanut farmers family Ismirlian in a room with the big guys just look at what the peanut farmers owners of the Baha Mar wind up....costing millions of closure....affecting the GNP .....affecting hundreds of Bahamian workers have jobs and losing jobs....winding up with Ismirlian following up with court case abroad....public finding out bidder jumping line....and on an on........public needs to look at peanuts just like the govt official.....who in previous time was in the Baha Mar room with the Ismirlian peanut farmers......
