Survival based on how good remaining elevated smaller islands can be independent or easily supplied and for how long. Survival of remaining Bahamas land will have submerged areas and islands which survival exists in relation to nearness etc of other islands. Nearness of other islands, land mass must offer viable cost effectiveness sharing of items basic for survival long term. Not wanting to do repeat having airports, hospitals etc on each island. Depends on what the scientists suggest islands remaining and for longest period to survive and in conjunction to world.
Somewhere there should be govt scientists running computer models changing weather effects on what islands can survive. Survival of a nation might only boil down to few islands capable of residents. All the scientists running computer models will also be taking into other areas of the world including clostest neighbour the United States, the largest import-export Bahamas survival depends on and sellable products, industry to generate levels of money to buy.

2013 Global School Based Health Survey in the Bahamas. Well six in ten children between ages of 13 and 15 were overweight or obese. Only16.6 percent usually ate fruits and vegetables more thsn five or more times a day. 84 percent children did not get not get enoigh exercise

The school Stephen Dillet located on the Constituency line Centreville Constituency snd the Bain and Grants Constituemcy with the Ministry of Health with both FNM Member of Parliament Representatives who lost jobs standing up against govt, and one even quitting the Party now have schools with health programs initiated.

This good program seems a bit off in having these youths, children in this poverty stricken area listed as OBESE and only 16.6 percent eating more than five or more meals with fruits and vegetables a day. Further, wid 84 percent did not getting dailt exercise dey officials shouldda note that most students in these densely populated poverty challenged areas usually gets up early have to prepare themselves, in usually single family home, have to tote water from the street pipe water stand, gets exercise daily have to walk to school.

These $1. dollar deals like the $1. dollar deal for Saunders Beach cost taxpayers hundreds perhaps Millions of dollars to build toilets, groins and years and years trying to grow grass. Today tourists and residents use many other beaches.

The GB plans should evaluate another site on the island to better function to have survival of all residents. Other site like the former US Tracking airport which is not on the shoreline prone to flooding and is more inland on higher ground. All surrounding areas can be more shored up for new runway. Looking at flood levels comparing both it seems former US base is higher and can still link vast habitable areas and with some earthworks etc. Appears that in patching present airport may only become another island in high tides unusable to residents.

Govt should look at new site bearing massive jobs to island. Growing businesses outside Port area. Bringing back synergies tourists want to visit of island atmosphere not like visiting another US town with a beach. Much potential exists for all country rather than going back to last chapter present owners done know no value for money.

There are just too many gaps in this story which does not addup. As is there may other unheard, unseen groups which were part of the transfer. No superiors group could have made a decision without morale issues disjoint in established teamand no political group would have singly chosen to have this position without obvious rammifications. There would also be a group of peers, a group of unknown group and or who knows. There may have also groups gone to in making the decision still sticking. More reasons to bolster reason to transfer this top cop position to PMH and his taking this to the press. In many businesses the envoronment gets more expensive, more taxes and in many businesses benefits shrink. Number of Bahamian businesses are struggling and some large well known businesses close.
Given todays realities businesses must also look within on why they are not getting the best from what they are offering.
