When I was younger I worked a lot as waiter/ bartender etc , the worst thing was the 15% automatic on the bill , I always averaged 20 to 25% but when its on the bill the guest just say ,,the tips on the bill .Why should I hustle when some lazy bones gives the guest a bad experience and still get 15 %

When I read the comments from some of the regular posters I realize how accurate the Dunning Kruger effect is .

Banks are not charities , they have vast experience at lending according for someones ability to pay back the loan .They already lent him the money to buy the property perhaps they think that's all the debt his business can carry . He wants two million more , they don,t think he can carry or repay that much debt .He may have to find investors or do the build out in smaller steps .Only BOB used to loan out money w no expectation of being paid back to friends and cronies and then we the taxpayer would keep BOB solvent

Btw the head tax , port fees and what the cruise passengers spend in Nassau , not a lot dollars wise,, but there are a lot of them,,over 4 million a year .We rake in btw 350 and 400 million ,,nothing to sneeze at .That is not even including the jobs ..Sure everyone wants someone to come through there doors and buy a diamond ring ,,but you don,t turn away 4 to 5 million people spending 100 dollars each

Are you implying she feed the workers that set up the festival breakfast , lunch and dinner for free for weeks ,,,I don't know any workers on the site that were getting breakfast ,lunch and dinner for free .If they did get food from her they were paying for it just like anyone else that gets food from her place . The set up workers buying food from her and the festival guest drinking in her bar for a day and getting cheese sandwiches are two completely different things .
