Who does he think he is fooling? Certainly NOT the residents of ABACO, nor the residents of grand bahamas. He came to ABACO (secretly) just a few months ago to meet with the haitian community. Did he not make himself aware of the many outstanding issues affecting ABACO at that time? Or, was his attention ONLY on his Haitian brothers and sisters? He snuck in and TRIED to sneak out, but Cay Mills ( the next Representative for North ABACO) spotted ‘Stumpy’ amidst the other foreigners, and called him out live on social media. Great going Cay.
‘Stumpy’ has now read the tea leaves and has been made acutely aware that the people of both North and South ABACO are definitely NOT on the PLP and FNM run any longer. Now, suddenly, ‘Stumpy’ goggle eyes are seeing the truth which does not look good for the current ABACO Rep. As they say, one and done pinder!!! abaco expected better of you. You were not happy representing the people who voted you in office. Noooooooo, you accepted the big bucks of ‘other’ portfolios, and consequently had no time at all for your Constituency. The good people of Cherokee Sound are still waiting for their clinic to be staffed.
When will this Government actually acknowledge the receip of 11 Billion dollars from the sale oof our Carbon Credits. This represents only a small portion of carbon credits due on our seagrass meadows alone.
Is it a fact that The Bahamas' entire Carbon Credits were about to be turned over to FTX?
With the change in legislation, the Minister of Finance can now do as he wishes with our carbon credits, and the Parliament cannot stop him. He has sole control over them.
It has been reported that EACH MP will be given $1.5M as hush money to not oppose the Minister of Finance, as he alone can reportedly do as he wishes with our Carbon Credits.

In an interview yesterday, Mr Watson admitted the Minnis administration’s first term in office was not “milk and honey,” but given the circumstances, the administration did the best it could and deserves to be re-elected.
Your one point is accurate, " They did the best they could do", however their best was an absolute failure. Not only was the Government unprepared to help Abaco and Grand Bahama post Hurricane Dorian, they were expert and very effective at discouraging and in some cases stopping relief efforts from coming in.
The people of Abaco and Grand Bahama will never forget.
Jokey Jack, I think you have your finger squarely on the pulse of the Country. The COI voters in the majority are keeping quiet, knowing exactly what they are going to do on Election Day. The change for which the Country thirsts is definitely coming, and coming in a big way. blackout!!!!!!
up to now, we have been like a bouncing ball; First bounce, FNM; Second Bounce, PLP; Third bounce FNM and so on. In the meantime nothing positive happens. On the negative side, the National Debt increases. The bank accounts of the connected get bigger, we borrow more money, and the people suffer.
Bahamas, have we not had enough of this failed way of doing things.

There is no way the FNM will form the next government unless the FNM and the PLP are prepared to form a coalition government between them.
The COI got this!
Leave the oil right where it is, then the Bahamas can benefit from carbon credits every year for a thousand years or more. Make it make sense.
