When are foreign workers going to be paid back salary and severance; Bahamian workers were paid? What is the value of a contact in the Bahamas if the Government sanctions this sort of discrimination?
"no one is entitled to payment given that the money being given was provided as a gift from the EXIM Bank" Gift? Really? Why would they provide money as a gift? I expect to be paid just like Bahamians were paid. See you in court.
I would like to know when former foreign workers at Baha Mar will be paid past due salary and severance. I am one of 200+ expats who have been patiently waiting for what is owed. Bahamians have been made whole. How about us? This is unfair and discriminatory.
Thanks for publicizing this discriminatory payment plan. I am one of more than 200 expat employees who have yet to be paid overdue salary and severance per our contracts. Particularly frustrating is the lack of communications with us. Emails are not returned. Is this fair?
Not all employees have been compensated. There are 200+ expat employees, myself included, who have not yet received back pay and severance per their employment contracts. This is clearly discriminatory. The US embassy will be informed.
