The Bahamas will be governed by the Under 50 population based on their vote in 2017. The only problem is that the U50 population has little power in the political party hierarchy of either the PLP or FNM.................... just ask Loretta or Doc Rollins or Bran
The PLP spending a lot of BREAD to bring low life gals here to sell their BREAD so Bahamian men can buy their BREAD and let it all just hangout and fly away.................. SMT
That is a very insightful letter written by a powerful ambassador of our music & culture. Two issues that we have to overcome: We do not OWN the tourism infrastructure (hotels) and our government does not invest in its people to become owners of our country. We are simply modern-day "slaves" on the plantation called The Bahamas. Slavery is REAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Obie and his band of sell-outs should have thought of these things before they went ahead with this foolhardy, un-Bahamian, financially-wasteful idea ................... asshole!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Soooooooooooooo , when are we going to hear what the new CJ will bring to the table????? How will he arrest the rise in the criminal case backlog, deal with the murder case overload and get rid of the huge amount of trivial cases on the books. Time for a Bahamian style "Judge Judy" on ZNS ............. we can get rid of 1000 cases per week with just one TV show!!!!!!
Can we feel confident that this is just not another political appointment ?????? Will this CJ only find his tongue when he is ready to quit ....... like QC Barnett???????
Who da hell gets scabies today??????????????? Whats going on in these homes?????? Do anyone monitor these children like teachers or Guidance?????? Where are the parents ?????
We stressing out over "D" average and the chirren cant concentrate for scratching dey skin!!!
Yall who get a problem with what Fweddy is doing ........... please go to Haiti and experience their public health and education system .......... if you find one. The haitians who come here are very lucky to find themselves in a country where the can experience the rudiments of a civilized country ................ regardless of how bad we Bahamians talk about our country.
The consumers are victims of a disorganized, politically-connected bussing system ......... the government really needs to regularize this mess that post-1967 crooked politicians have created. This is why we have so many private vehicles on this little island. It puts a strain on government services, infrastructure, scrap disposal etc. that would not exist if we had an efficient public bussing system that ran from 5am to 11 pm along the main streets
Education is not FREE. The government (taxpayers) spends on average $4,000 for each student to attend PUBLIC schools and an additional $10 million for the 15,000 private school children. This is a good sum for a third world country ...................... for what its worth. but the problem is ........... are we getting any value for the money??????
