Very unfortunate situation. People, please follow the government's instructions and stay at home, only leaving for essential services. We have to flatten the curb. The life you save may be your very own!
@ joeblow, makes no sense to test people who are asymptomatic. If we test everyone who comes in contact with a carrier, we will certainly run out of tests for those who truly need it. There is nothing that can be done while asymptomatic anyway, that's why we are encouraged to stay at home to reduce the spread.
@Ms. Rolle, thank God that you are able to stay with your friend in Texas. Stay put until this crisis blows over and for God sake, be good to your hosts! Don't abuse their kindness, like many house guests do when they stay longer than 1 week.
@wellmudda, go to the back of your yard and catch some fresh air. Stay away from the computer/phone for a few days. It's good for your mental health. You need a lil time out bruh!
@newcitizen, some people can't help themselves. I am quite sure you are not saying that people can't criticize, but now is certainly not the time to do so. Our focus as citizens and residents should be on how we can minimize our exposure to this virus and do what we have to remain healthy for ourselves and fellow Bahamians. People need to stop politicizing this crisis.
Agreed @thisisours, but we also need to fix our tourism product. Bay Street needs to be revamped. Its dry, boring and lacking character. It certainly is not representative of a city center.
This move by RCL should really motivate the merchants/business owners to clean up their act.
