Thank you John Watling’s Distillery for stepping up to the challenge. We really need to step up our efforts to becoming self sufficient as a nation. There should be no need for us to import hand sanitizers.
Sorry @birdie, the people caused themselves to panic! I wouldnt be caught dead standing in that chaos. I will just have to make do with what I have. I would rather eat tea and crackers than knowingly expose myself to a virus that could potentially kill me.
This crisis, along with hurricane Dorian has really brought our country to the brink of disaster. I pray that we will have the fortitude to get out of this.
@ stillwaters, all these people do is whine and complain. I agree with you its sickening. For goodness sake people, there are three days for each group to go shop. You don't have to rush to go on the first day. Make do with what you have until you can shop. Many people around the world got this done without starving. I promise you, you won't die from starvation. Why are we so extra?
It's a very unfortunate situation for this family. My heart goes out to them, but the world can barely keep up with this disease, what do you think about us? This is not the time to play the blame game. Resources are limited, medical personnel are limited and we are in dire straits financially as our largest industry has just taken a big blow.
At this time, we are all going to have to do our part by staying well and following the government's recommendations. If we don't, we will lose more innocent lives. We don't have the capacity to handle this pandemic, so we all need to do our part to stop the spread. This has nothing to do with politics.

Just like those greedy, selfish union leaders to take advantage of a bad situation. I have no respect for any of them. A very well written editorial!
