Agreed, the work place should be free from religious and political conversations. It creates unnecessary division and also greatly impacts productivity.
@messenger I wish you could type this again in CAPS so that people all across the archipelago can get it!! We are too slack as a people. This is why we are not progressing in this country, too much dishonesty and disrespect for the law. Everyone wants to cut corners!! Glad they will be going to jail. It will teach them a hard lesson.
There are numerous opportunities for small businesses. Have these businesses reached out to the small business development authority that was created for assistance or are they just complaining for complaining sake?
@future, just skip over his comments, they never make sense. He was previously know as muddasick. Let's just hope that he never needs to call the police while someone is brandishing a gun in his face!
If you open up the other islands while New Providence and Grand Bahama are closed, what do you think will happen? A bunch of selfish people will leave these islands and head to those islands, putting everyone at risk. Those family islands can not afford community spread. If you think, there are no supplies and infrastructure in the capital.....goodness the Family Islands are a joke.
Dwight, relax yourself! You do not want an outbreak of this crap in your community. You think it's hard now, it will be worse then.
All of this is why the Bahamian public should have taken this virus seriously. We have very limited resources and terrible infrastructure. Dr Sands and his team stressed this at the beginning of this outbreak.
There could have been a balance between opening up the country and handling this disease. Many Bahamians just refused to listen. How hard was distancing your self by 6 ft, wearing a mask and practising proper hygiene. It's not rocket science. Just step outside you door and look at the number of people who selfishishly put others in danger. You can not blame the government for irresponsible people, unless you are some of the ones being irresponsible!!!
