Wow@ well-mudda, I am so impressed with your commentary today. You mean you didn't have anything bad to say about your "favorite"- Minnis led government......LOL
Sorry @birdie, there is nothing cold hearted about what Mr. Turnquest said! He stated FACTS. While I sympatize with the lady, the government can not be expected to rebuild people's homes. Those homes should have been insured.
When are we as a people going to take responsibility for our actions? We bury our heads in the sand and ignore what needs to be done. Well, if you own a home, your home must be insured!!
If something happens, you can not expect the state to do everything for you. If they took that approach and tried to rebuild everyone's home, how can the government be expected to survive? Why should the taxpayers of this country be expected to pay for your irresponsible behaviour?
My fellow Bahamias, take responsibility for your own lives! stop depending on the government and others to do everything for you!!
Great job Marcellus! Cut their pay. Hit them where it hurts. They waste too much time, following this big mouth woman. Let's see them pay their rent and feed themselves while continuing to listen to this nasty woman.
Both Mr. Tynes and Mr. Watson have personal issues with the Prime Minister and the Speaker, so I find it hard to listen to what they have to say. I do agree with the sentiments expressed by former speaker Dr. Kendal Major. I think he presented a fair and a balanced assessment in an earlier article printed in the Tribune this week.

@Oracle and that is what's so frustrating. We continue to breed a society of lazy, dependant people. Politics is the blame!
