How did we get in this critical position where the very survival of the Bahamas depends on the Chinese? Is this for real? Our destiny should be in the hands of God and the Bahamian people, not outside interests.
Why is there a need to expend our very limited resources for a YES Bahamas campaign, when the Constitutional Commission has been island hopping for the past year or more explaining the bills and trying to convince us of same? The only thing that all of this has convinced me bout is that the government is the biggest obstacle to gender equality.
I agree with sheeprunner 12 and I will vote no to all of the bills in protest. The biggest threat to eequality in this nation is our corrupt governments, not the constitution or pastors. The decisions will still be in their hands and if you are not one of their cronies, have the right connections, wear the right colours, or from certain privileged families, your applications for any of these so-called rights will still be denied or held up. Our MP's and their power hungry civil servant supporters are the biggest promoters of inequality.
Do we need to hear of people to know if they can perform? Members in the present government like to brag about how they have been around for 40+ years. But how are they performing? Do you think that they are performing well with their years of "experience"? What is their excuse? The DNA has so far presented a good group. I am positive they couldn't do any worse than that crew in there right now.
