Hopefully one day the sweet, honest and hardworking people of this wee country will figure out that ALL the public corporations are easy pickings for these money grabbing politicians.
I'd love to know what the statistics are for people employed in the BFSS since the union got their knit picking hands on the industry ? At least now they have a representative to tell them the work business is moving ( to countries where the unions aint )
Fancy the head of the Bahamas BAR convincing himself that the deplorable state of the country's legal system calls for a discussion on the semantics of how one should criticize the judiciary....well done old boy....that'll show them ?
Why dont you go back to your comfy office and sip on another juicy real estate deal while the peasants burn the town down
interpretation - the first mortgage relief plan did not allow my family and I to steal money from the banks in broad daylight so we are looking at new ways of intimidating them
dropped the ball a little bit..........The government controlled central bank has overseen the government controlled Bank of the Bahamas skim off at least $100 million dollars of tax payers money via unsecured loans to Politically Exposed Persons. Successive elected represntitives and successive civil servants have completely and utterly failed at their mission.
They have proven at the highest level that we can not manage our own finances
Anyone that has had a single thing to do with this situation and has not cried out for the Bahamian People, should be ashamed of themselves and damned with public disgrace
Whoever leaked this information. Hooray. Lets keep it up until there is enough national outcry to demand a commission of enquiry. One that is empowered to strip the shirt off these scumbag pep's.
Pitty the poor soles that put their cash in these criminal's hands. They are offering ridiculous interest rates to sucker the ignorant and naive. They can fornicate with the politicians to conceal the thievery on the books. And when the house of cards comes down, there ain't no way anyone will ever get their cold hard cash back from these ponzi merchants
The secret is to borrow a whole bunch of money from BOB or BDB. Give a chunk of it to the boys while you pretend to build and stock up the store. Pay yourself all kind of bonus without ever even thinking about paying back the loan or customs or anyone. Then when the whole house of card fall apart you put all your workers on the street without any redundancy or ting.
And the madness is in this country you can do it over and over again without any chance of comeuppance
