Now that Mr.Mitchell has resolved all the problems in his ministry(including our illegal immigration problem) he can concentrate on other issues such as the editorial of the Nassau Guardian.
Investors will be glad to come here so they can deal with a xenophobic government that will dictate to them who they can hire or not and how to run their businesses. Is it any wonder that "our traditional friends don't want to lend us anymore?"
The minister worries about negative publicity. When last year his party was erecting posters all over Nassau with the number of murders in the Bahamas, negative publicity was not an issue?
@ Tal Russell.......Crime did not start in the Bahamas neither in 1992 nor 2002. So try to stop playing the blame game, because honestly there is plenty of blame to go around. Our education system is a mess, many young people really don't want to work, and many parents are failing their kids. Crime has been an issue for a long time, and unfortunately things will get worse, before they get any better.
Several PLP candidates, including Brave Davis promised 10,000 jobs right after the election. Now,all of a sudden it's not their responsibility to find jobs for Bahamians. "we never said that", We did not mean it like that" and one of my favorites " I am not aware" Go figure
@ Frank... Well said sir, i would also like to know who is stopping Sebas Bastian to invest in any legitimate business he wishes. It is also interesting that he is blaming the UBP for today's mix up in gambling. Who he will blame next Christopher Colombus?
I have never seen a party loosing so much support in such a short period of time. Perry Christie never had any kind of plan for our country. His only plan was to become P.M again,so he can satisfy his ego. In the meantime things are falling apart, cabinet members contradict one another, our country's situation is getting worse every day,and Perry Christie acts as he is some kind of movie star.
