With his party's popularity in a historic low and his personal popularity around zero (even his own MP's can't wait to get rid of him),PC all of a sudden seeks unity. By the way is this going to be a "binding" referendum?
@TalRussell.......Well this comes from a party that last year was putting posters all over Nassau, informing everyone, including tourists, how many murders we have in the Bahamas. Does this answer your question?
The latest fees along with the upcoming VAT next year will certainly hit the average consumer. Foodstores will simply pass the costs to the shoppers, making the cost of living even higher. Ironically, the lower to middle income families who would have voted PLP in the last election, will be the ones that will be hit the hardest. Enjoy it.
Some people are really ungratefull. A private company s trying to help them, their MP is trying to help them and they are still not happy. Maybe next time they should be left alone, just to see if they can take care of themselves.
Nobody suggests that crime started under Christie. The fact of the matter is that he promised to do something about it,and all we hear are slogans, urban renewal, swift justice, march against crime and so on. Talk won't solve crime, actions will. All nations have to deal with different levels of crime. Is this an excuse to let it get out of control? May I remind you that not every nation depends on tourism like ours. So you may like or don't like foreigners(that's your business really),but whether you like it or not we depend on them for our prosperity.

And this is a surprise because? After all the minister's party did their best last year to inform the tourists of the crime situation in our country.
