It is interesting that while this disbarred lawyer is throwing out these accusations he fails to actually mention any names. Can it be assumed that he knows that he can be sued for libel if he did so and was not able to prove his accusation. Talk is cheap, money buy land. More true with some than others, yes, Mr. Bodie?
This commentator Godspeed has previously commentated that Trump won the US election; now he pushing this narrative about big pharma and Dr. Fauci being part of some weird international conspiracy. I cannot help wondering if he also believes that, as Trump said, it will be gone by May 2020 and it is just like a mild flu? The death toll of covid19 related deaths in the US is now way past half a million. I would think that the families of the deceased would disagree with Trump's statements and the commentators assertions.
During his presidency Trump is reported to have lied something like 28,000 times, remember Mexico was going to pay for the fence, sorry, wall. Remember the caravan of rapist murdering immigrants, remember, I will reveal my tax returns? I could go on 28,000 times but the point is anyone who believes his lies will also believe his lie that he won the election by a landslide; facts and truth do not enter into this discussion. QAnon is obviously always correct as is Foxnews, as are the trump supporters comments displayed here. This is sad but even more true, the most truth ever.
I do not buy into to the logic here expressed that the Rastafarian community somehow is entitled to special dispensation with regards to the Cannabis industry. By the same logic Catholics and Anglicans should be entitled to special treatment in the liquor store business because they all use an alcoholic beverage as a sacrament.
The suggestions proposed by this letter writer are wrong on so many levels. The first suggestion that 5 years in the police or Defence forces should be a prerequisite seems to ignore the current arrest of 2 officers last week on rape charges and the dozens of officers dismissed for various unsavory reasons. Having been a member of one of the State Security Forces does not automatically make you a good person. It is very rare that anyone who has been granted a license to posses a shotgun is charged with a crime involving the use of that shotgun. The suggestion that the firearms should be produced in this country makes about as much sense as suggesting that all the laptop computers made in this country must be made here using silicon chips also made here. How a gun made here is somehow more easily traced than one manufactured in another country escapes me completely. This country will continue to have a problem with illegal firearms as long as the USA continues to allow hundreds of thousands of them to circulate with zero regulation.
Tribun. Your point is totally irrelevant. I have not seen anyone anywhere advocating that commercial airline pilots should be allowed to smoke weed before they pilot an aircraft. unfortunately creating false narratives is very common with people who cannot put forward logical arguments. have you perhaps been consuming sugar today? Has it perhaps clouded your judgement? We need to ban all refined sugar products and make it illegal to eat dead animal parts; then the nation will start to get more healthy and people will be able to think more clearly.
Hi TribuneAnon; you are not OK with decriminalization of marijuana because of what you claim to be a list of unsubstantiated and nebulous negative side effects.. Why not mention the very obvious and deadly effects of obesity in our country? Diabetes and Hypertension anyone? Should we not immediately make sugar, meat, and junk food illegal? Let's start putting people in jail for being obese; after all obese people are well known to be less productive and take more days off sick than no-obese people?
It isreported that in the US 40,000 have died since January 2020 from opiate overdoses. During this same time frame the number of people who died in the US from mariuana overdose has been exactly none. Consider that for a moment. Let it sink in and then wonder why this whole discussion has even been necessary.
The Minister has carried out his duties with transparency and to good effect during a very challenging time. Probably the best Minister of Education since Wallace Whitfield. He is Prime Minister Material if the present incumbant should leave that post.
Imagine being asked to actually pay some money towards your medical insurance? What next, will ZNS state employed workers be expected to contribute towards their pension? Or perhaps even work the same number of hours per week as everyone else who works in the private sector? How ridiculously entitled these state employed workers must be. It is past time to close down ZNS, it performs no necessary function and costs millions of dollars that could better spent paying useful workers such as nurses or teachers.
