Expecting that Her Majesty's State Security Service is capable and willing to fully investigate wrong doing perpetuated by members of it's own force is like expecting a Minnesota police officer to intervene when one his colleagues is forcibly subduing and possibly killing a suspect during an arrest.

John Kennedy has been raised to the status of a political demi-god. he was an adulterer, grandchild of a criminal bootlegger, and under the influence of prescription pharmaceuticals for most or all of his reign as president. He managed to get his country needlessly involved in the Vietnam war which cost hundreds of thousands of Vietnamese lives and over sixty thousand uS military serviceman. I do not think his speeches should be lauded and held up as a good example, but perhaps Mr. Evans knows better than me.

What good news that Exuma Market will continue to serve the community even though the current owners are retiring. Fresh Markets have done a very good job keeping their shelves stocked during a very challenging time. Not many would have been able to do so well. TribAnonentity is not correct when he writes that Michael Scott and his wife are forcing staff at the Albany restaurant to get vaccinated. Mrs. Michael Scott manages that restaurant and not Mr. Scott. So many people have only a brief passing acquaitance with the truth. It is sad.

This prolific letter writer has never let facts get in the way of his opinions but although the PLP was formed in the 1950's was not the UBP not formed until the 1960's? Does anyone know more definitevely than me or the letter writer?

Munroe's Alma Mater, Oral Roberts university, has had more than its fair share of scandals. According to Wkipedia it also had a $500 million debt. Probably not the best place to learn how best to run a church, or maybe it is.

What a sad prospect for the country to see this man elected to a governing position. In his years as the appointed Director of Labour I can not recall him achieving anything at all, perhaps because the person appointed to this position does not have to actually anything productive. The years that he spent as president of the state employed workers union also meant that he did not have to do any actual productive work. Was he not a failed candidate for the DNA, or was that a different Pinder?

TribAnonentity seems to have a continuing problem with the Tribune, his always negative comments suggest no positive solutions ever. He should just stop reading the newspaper so that the rest of us no longer have to read his sad comments. Better yet; he should start his own newspapers so we can hurl criticisms at his efforts. There are several people commenting here who come from families that comfortably avoided military service during the war against the fascist regimes of Nazi Germany, Italy, and Japan. Sir Etienne Dupuch, like the father of the tabloid's editor was brave enough to risk his life. This will have given his family members an appreciation of how important it is that human rights abuses by any government must be challenged. Congratulations to the editor of the Tribune.
