So a group of presumably union member workers known as the Lords of Doom spent their working day drinking and smoking weed. Now I wonder why those generators out there keep catching on fire? Any comment from that usually verbose Union President?

It is distasteful how right wing fundamental Christians assume that they invented morality and ethics. Human beings have acted with integrity and altruism for tens of thousands of years before the advent of the Christian church. I seem to remember learning that the so called Classical or Ancient Greeks examined, codified, and wrote texts on ethics, again way before the Christian church was founded. A little learning can be a dangerous thing as Mr. Evans's letter amply demonstrates.

This far right fundamentalist pastor never seems to have anything positive to say. He is anti this and and anti that. Perhaps this is the way that he keeps his collection plate and tithes plenty fat, by peddling fear and hate. It is sad and so far from the message of love and acceptance taught by Jesus.

How refreshing to to hear a truth from a politico. Congratulations Mr. Johnson, you have displayed a rare integrity and ls presumably must l ack the hypocrisy commonly found with the political class.

it is easier for a camel to pass through the gate to Jerusalem known as The Eye of The Needle than for a rich pastor to enter the kingdom pf Heaven. The Eye of The Needle gate into Jerusalem was very low to prevent the invasion of men on horseback if the city was attacked. Is Ellis a rich pastor? i do not know but i did read in a newspaper report that he owned a half share in a private jet.

Ellis has always seemed to me to be a creature of the plp and has done very well financially. Can anyone say Crown Land?

So this lawyer turned politician is upset that the company supplying potable water under contract to the government owned WSC has stopped supplying water because the WSC has not paid for it for a long time? I am not a lawyer but there seems to something very wrong with the government's position. I wonder how it would stand up in court?
