Reparations, free money, what a great topic. Do all Bahamians get some even the white Bahamians? What about a well known attorney whose mother was British? Does he have to pay or does he get some of it? What about a previous prime minister whose grandfather was a white Bahamian, does he have to pay or does he get some? Do the British people have to pay even though their navy intercepted so many slavers and liberated the slaves to settle them in the Bahamas? This court case going to go for a long time. Are there any black Bahamians without white dna or white Bahamians without black dna? I doubt it.

Not for the first time what is posted here by hellMussatakesic is a product of his imagination. He was never invited to any cocktail parties where the Symonette brothers discussed the national flag. There is a well reported story of Norman Solomon quipping that the white thread was what held the flag together and this is probably what prompted this fake news.

According to Google 2 people drown every single minute, every day and every night. Hundreds of people die by drowning in rivers and creeks, being a strong swimmer will not necessarily protect you when you hit cold water and you body goes into shock. Mu condolences to the families and loved ones of these two deceased but for anyone to conclude that there is a conspiracy of cover up is simply without merit.

Was the retiring GG getting paid the bloated pension paid to retired Prime Ministers and surviving spouses, at the same time that she was being paid to hold the post of GG. How much was this costing the taxpayer on am annual basis?

Hey Proudcloudnfnm, commentators like the person you are responding to are just not interested in the facts of a matter they are driven solely by a narrow political agenda which has little or nothing to do with the truth.

I wonder how Mr. Allen came to the conclusion that health care was a basic human right. In traditional societies health care would only be provided to those members of that society, those you contributed or had contributed to the survival of it. It would not be extended to anyone outside. Only fairly recently was the concept of universal Health care implemented in Western democracies, by the English government after the World War. Before that if you could not afford medical care then you did not get it. No, not a human right. a right thing for a government to do but not a basic human right.

Madhater; I with you on this one. It would also remove the profit motive and dry up the drug gangs major source of income. Indoor hydroponics, all you need is a cupboard space, and of course the ability to pay you bigger bpl bill.
