Of course the police officers can wear bullet proof vests while we ordinary citizens are prosecuted for doing so. I would feel safe wearing a vest so it is not surprising ACP Fernander thinks that we all should feel safe. I wonder if he carries a handgun as well?

The problem with our aragonite lies in the high cost of transportation relative to the value.

I remember that crooked old hypocrite Bernard Nottage saying the same thing as he travelled around in his chauffeured limousine wearing a bullet-proof vest and carrying a hand gun. I wonder what sort of character this ex-policeman is? Does he carry a hand gun? Does he too wear a bullet-proof vest? Does he ride easy in a chauffeur driven limousine? It would be so refreshing to have a cabinet minister who is not a hypocritical lying self-serving Waste of space.

Who is more trustworthy, Carl Wiltshire Bethel or the starving wolf in your bed that has promised not to eat you if you fall asleep? Do you remember the chief of police Elliston Greenslade promising to close the web shops down within two weeks? That was two years ago, he lied to us all and was rewarded by being made ambassador to the UK. Perry the shiftless shuffler almost broke the country but is living large on a pension of $250,000 per year paid for by the taxes we are made to pay. I continue to pray to God to punish theses evildoers..

On this page it is sometimes hard to distinguish irony from stupidity.

Strawbahamian, you demonstrate a commonly held but dangerous belief that The Privy Council in the UK is not an extremely important weapon in the ongoing fight to maintain a functional democracy in this country. The Russian government employs hundreds of workers whose sole job is to destroy democratic institutions around the free world. You are doing your part to assist them while also demonstrating your racism, why else mention what you think is the skin colour of the members of this highest court of appeal. You are wrong with that assertion as well, by the way. Is your stupidity and ignorance deliberate or not?

%% or so of any population is born with sociopathic tendencies. If properly raised these people can be productive citizens they make particularly good soldiers, policemen, and other tightly structured jobs. If not properly raised then they make excellent hitmen for gang bosses as they can kill with no regret. We obviously have too many like this in the country and I can see no solution except to lock myself in my fortress home and not venture out after dark.

Freeport's economy was destroyed by the corrupt and incompetent Lynden Swindling, he was pissed off that he had to pay back some of the money he had "borrowed" from prominent Grand Bahama investors. Like many Bahamians he thought borrowed money should be a gift, Bend or Break, he told them and the people cheered his courage. Similarly thus was Robert Vesco thrown out the country after the PLP crooks had bled him dry. I am sometimes surprised that ant foreign investors come here at all.
