The self-titled Captain Smith must be incurring a very large bill from his legal representatives I would think. It should be obvious that no one can ultimately win a legal battle with the State because the State creates the laws. What could be the real motive behind all this? Most things in life boil down to simply being about money, so how will Mr. Smith intend to get money out of this appeal? Time, as always, will tell.
If this is really a "no brainer" bill, .. Legal ownel ship of licensed firearms is not a problem in this country. Perhaps someone just wants to get on the government payroll as a firearm inspector? A pensioned off member of one of the State Security Services looking to gain extra income and eventually another unfunded government pension? Time will tell.
As long as this does not develop the same way as a nationalistic youth group founded in a European country in the mid 1930's. Democracy is so fragile particularly in these days that have seen a resurgence in populist leaders.

It has to be unhealthy to have an ongoing obsession with other people's sexual orientation, and then to have a compulsion to publically share it is even more disturbing.
Does anyone know what is meant by " affordable and social housing"? The affordable part is understandable, but social? House that like to hang around with other houses?
This incident should serve as a powerful inducement for the country's business and vehicle incensing authorities to ensure that these vehicles are properly insured. Unfortunately nothing much will probably happen if past performance is anything to judge by. All vehicles now have to carry a copy of their insurance certificate on/in the vehicle; it would be interesting to know whether any of our 3,000 plus police officers have ever taken the time and trouble to verify even one of these ATV's.
