If Mr. Reid has any effect at all on the level of violence and the growth of gangs in the country then it will be very surprising. He will probably just become comfortably ensconsed in the well compensated government post that he has attained and contribute to the country about as much as the others in similar positions do. Forget the Foxhill prison sentences for drug crimes; they are an affront to righteousness, Harsher punishments breed harsher law breakers. If women had complete control over their reproductive lives, then just possibly there would be no unwanted babies born into homes where they not properly nurtured and raised with love and caring. Right politicians and churchmen create and define how much control a woman has over her body. These people who decide are mostly men just like in Iran where women and girls are forced to wear a burka. Sigh.
