For so long so many people have been whining about the service provided by the various banks. Unlike having to deal with government agencies you do have a choice with banks. Please all you whiners just close out your account and never go back, See, isn't that simple?
Is the speed limit on the bridge 15mph or 20mph? If the driver was exceeding the posted speed limit then in a developed country with a properly unctioning judical system then the driver would be facing a term in jail. In this country it seems a life is worth a mere $5,000 fine and off you merrily go. sad.
A promise is a comfort to no one but a fool. We still waiting on that free electricity that minister of finance p. christie promised years ago. The government cannot even find enough teachers to staff the out islands' schools so there is no chance of finding general practice doctors.
Let me save them a lot of time and money; yes, there needs to be an increase in what BPL charge for electricity, and no the minister of finance will not allow it. Things will just have to get more and more broken down. What happened to the free electricity promised by Christie when he was minister of finance? Was he joking perhaps? or was he ......?
Lincoln Bainsinaro? I like it,although the difference is that the Brazilian president was successful in getting elected, So many wannabe politicians in this country.
The Bahamian economy has a serious problem which can only be addressed by an administration that is willing to lose the next election that they take part in. The problem, as we all know, is that government workers and government owned organizations (bob, wsc, ba, bpl, Etc., etc..) absorb much too much of the country's production. No feasible solution to this so our economy is doomed. Should I be buying Bitcoins now that PM Philip Davis seems to have endorsed by addressing the Crypto currency gathering? What could possibly go wrong?
Seventeen armed robberies on a single day, .. . ...Police superintendent caught with cocaine they say.... ... ... .A Right Honourable member remanded to jail... . .. ...Magistrate setting a very high bail..... .. ....Seems like the country just rolling along, . ... ..Greed and corruption not accepted as wrong.. .. .. .. "All for me, baby." once again is our song. ... ... .. .Political party like a Hong Kong tong. sigh.
We have been on the cusp of this transformational change for near 50 years now. How long a cusp supposed to last anyway as the only new level seems to be one further level down and deeper in debt. sigh.
