"If you are born in the Bahamas to illegal parents, you have the right at age 18 to apply. You are not a Bahamian. That is what everyone is missing.

Now, we do not normally deport these people, that is why this case is interesting and I will be disappointed if that is what happened.”

If they are born in the Bahamas to illegal parents we understand that they have the right to apply, but do they have the right to stay? I guess they cannot apply from anywhere else in the world, then? Please clarify.

So if you do not apply, does that still make you legal because you're running around town with no papers and just waiving a birth certificate all while touting your right to apply for citizenship and daring them to deport you, which is what I think happened in this case.

This is what happens when you have only ONE woman in the cabinet - and by all accounts an ineffective one. She must sense the shortfall and trying to make up for it. We've had Janet Bostwick, Glennys Hanna-Martin, and Sandra Dean-Patterson (just to name a few) all speak up for women's rights. With or without an office it clearly can be done. Sweet girl just needs to take her head out of sand and encourage her husband to balance his cabinet. Clearly more women are needed at the highest levels in government.

So if you're quiet like a church mouse like Ingraham's wife or missing in action like Christie's wife, how will this this role fit you? She just happens to be a little more vocal that her predecessors.

It ain't that serious. I say if you want to affect change, run for a seat and go to Parliament and speak up like all the other women there. Standing by a PM's side does not give you any entitlement, just ask "Gucci Grace".

They have posted pictures of Mr. Charles' so-called birth certificate, school ID and graduation certificate all over social media. His name is spelt differently on each and details of his birth and parents names are missing on some of these documents. He obviously went through the school system undocumented and I suspect he never got his papers because his birth certificate is incomplete. I'm guessing that's why he was deported.

"People can’t disappear in the Bahamas anymore and that is what has happened."

This comment is hilarious! Let's not forget that a Haitian sloop pulled up on our shores just a few weeks ago. All 150 -200 persons presumed to have been on board have disappeared. What does he mean "People can't disappear". Please can and people do... the illegals that he so gung-ho to defend are specialist at this.

RBC has been straight out trippin’ for months now and it’s gerting worse and worse. I wonder if they will ultimately pull out of the Bahamas all together. I take it before that happens though they will continue to rape their customers with high fees and bureaucratic procedures to keep their accounts open. You’d swear they are doing you a favor by letting you bank there.

Tell me, how is it that you have to pay a $5 monthly fee plus VAT to save with them? That’s $60 per annum plus VAT just to maintain a savings account people! And that’s just one stupid charge. They take your hard earned money, lend it to other customers at a high interest rate and then still turn around and charge you for making it available for them to use. That is utter nonsense! Anyone who continues to bank with RBC is just as foolish to let them get away with this.

I took pleasure in closing my account and cutting up my cards well over a year ago. I have no regrets and no issues with high fees where I’m banking now.

I urge Bahamians and foreigners alike to boycott this stupid bank. These weekly negative headlines are quite telling.
