Not true. I understand he has had hand picked most of the persons who are now on the council. The old MP's (including Hubert Ingraham) were put out under the FNM constitution as it required that they only remain on it for 2 years after losing their seats. They were recently removed in favour of persons who actually could stomach him.
If voting No opens the door, I'm curious to know why gays haven't tried before this point to challenge the constitution and get married. I'm sure they have intellects among them. But I guess the light bulb just came on after the proposed referendum.
I agree with Rollins. You cannot play the "poor Bahamians" card. Minnis has been dubbed as a redeemer of the poor man. But haven't we seen this before with the PLP and look where that got us.
Look, leave the so-called poor Bahamians who don't know any better to support the PLP and continue using outside toilets and just looking for "a job". The FNM like the Republicans attracts the wealthy, educated and smarter Bahamian. He needs to stick with that demographic and stop trying to be hero to a sector that doesn't care. His minions just looking for handouts anyway. The idiots can't see he won't be PM on the present course he's on.
Yep. What is he so afraid of. This "lacklusterness" cannot continue all the way to November. He's dooming his party the longer he waits. And what's the big deal if you gat the darned delegates in your pocket anyway?
And what? You are the prime example of diplomacy having insulted the developer and threatened to take his permanent residency? Pleez!
Social media has been defacing images of Christie and his cabinet for years now. Why hasn't Mitchell cried out against that? He's so quick to defend the precious Chinese and has never chastised Bahamians for defacing our own Prime Minister's image and making a mockery out of him on social media? Diplomacy starts at home, Sir. But I guess you didn't get the memo!
These things go with the territory when you are in high office making decisions to screw us over and only thinking about yourself.
Frankly your heads are so far up the Chinese arses you can't see that!
I do agree with the letter writer that the "foreign element" is strong in this country and that we are slowly being displaced as Bahamian citizens. I think this is why most people have such a strong opposition to this referendum. Everything about the first three bills speaks of giving rights to a "foreigner". Our culture does not dictate that we welcome with open arms anything or anyone that is a "foreigner".
She is not the first person this has happened to. Man you working for the government station. You just don't go against the Government unless you gat ya own private station like Steve McKinney dem.
