Mr Cash also lamented that the FNM has become “a shadow of its former self” and risks being “sunk by an anchor of leadership that has been found wanting”. - Truer words hath not yet been spoken.
I respect Mr. Cash. It was he that warned Ingraham long before the last election that the sale of Batelco and road works would cause him the election and that it did.
Dr. Minnis is now the noose around the FNM's neck and it's chocking them straight out of winning the general election. Please, Dr. Minnis, for the good of all, step down and give the party a fighting chance.
This woman needs to sits small. Most people have already made up their minds and there's no influencing their vote. Besides voting is such a personal thing. It's really a matter of conscience. Minnis said he's voting his conscience and so should everyone else.
They are aiming to create "new Bahamians" fresh in time to vote for them in the upcoming election (no doubt fast-tracking their applications which has been done by every Government before every general election).
If the process for citizenship were a more honest one that could not be manipulated by the governing party (i.e. votes in exchange for citizenship) I would be more trusting of this so-called "gender equality' referendum. Because the process is flawed, I am more inclined to vote NO to every last proposed amendment.
I think the whole idea was for ALL the Bills to pass. The Government obviously did not contemplate a case of one or only some getting through. It's a tragedy.
Pastor Moss, it's a lot to digest but thanks for your insight on this.

You do know this is not going to stop anything, right? More than likely, this referendum WILL fail. To borrow a line ... "Not on my watch!"
