From all accounts, the notices to vacate were ignored so I have a difficult time feeling sorry for the legals much less the illegals. This problem has been festering too darned long.
Here's how this works: You borrow $60 million under pretense that the country broke and you need to fix up the now devastated islands, then give the contracts to your cronies. Cronies inflate their prices so ensure they make double or triple what the real value of the job is. You get your kickbacks from the cronies who give you a cut from the deal and, vola! Everybody rich!
Actually the Minister is right. The foreigners have taken over. Indians have purchased Skans and turned it into a jewelry store. I understand they are in the process of purchasing another major perfume store in the same area. I only question who is allowing it. They have to get their licenses from the Government and if they purchase it has to be registered with the Investments Board. The buck stops with the Government.
I agree. He's drunk with power and has deluded himself into thinking that with a "lackluster" Minnis at the helm of the FNM, it guarantees his party another term in office never mind all the bullsh** they've done. I trust he has underestimated the electorate.
Nobody is denying Christie has energy. Lots of 70-plus-year-olds do. What these foolish delegates fail to realize is his lack of "vision". He's fresh out of ideas and needs to retire! Give us someone who can get a grip on crime, the economy and immigration. Give us someone who can govern our country please!!
He's clearly deluded! But way to go in sealing the fate of the PLP in losing the next General Election. Don't bother stepping aside. We love you soooo much we want you to stay for the sheer pleasure of voting you out!

No matter who runs for leadership of the plp, the plp is doomed!! Not the country. I doubt the masses will vote them back in.
