Not that I don't feel bad for the lady but this is a joke to what I experienced at the Canadian Border going into Canada from New York for a 4-day visit with a friend to see the Niagara Falls with our Bahamian passports, US-cash in hand, and our hotel reservation - still they held us up for 4 hours grilling us with questions and searching our rental car and suitcases... the whole nine yards. We were completely baffled by the treatment as we were clearly tourist just coming in for a visit. I wanted to go back across the border and call it a wash, but I refused to let them spoil my visit. I will never return to Canada again so I know exactly how this lady feels. I trust they get to the bottom of this.
The focus HAS to be on the $100,000 payment because if it's laundered money, then technically this is a crime and his bill is still NOT paid. I trust they have these funds stashed is a safe somewhere and that a credit is not applied to his account until due diligence is complete.
I am truly baffled at Mr. Miller's attitude. He continues to try and deflect from the facts. He owed the corporation money and was telling everyone else off about their bills, his company's so-called cash payment is now in question, we find out that he is personally authorizes the BEC technicians not to cut off other PLP croonies' lights when they owe and yet he continues to fly in the face of the media with his "up yours" statements because he knows the PM is too jelly to fire him.
Jesus, this country is gone. We desperately need a new government!
The Pindling name is not the issue. It's whether or not the appointment is "deserved" as it reeks of cronyism. Frankly, I can think of persons who are far more qualified and deserving!
I agree. Mr. Miller's daughter decided to put her thoughts into the public arena. Believe it or not, Facebook DOES have privacy settings that stop the whole world from seeing what you post. Her facebook page was wide open which means, she WANTED everyone to see the post. Someone took it and shared it and the result is what created this headline. Suggestion: Change your facebook settings Mrs. Brice!

No surprise here. Doesn't he "owe" NIB as well? He has a serious track record for not paying bills.
