Well actually you are correct as the local committee should be handling these matters. However as a practical matter, these events are not assigned to countries without a written guarantee of support from public funds. This is why Carifta 2022 Was moved to Jamaica from Guyana. They could not get that guarantee from their Govt.
Relax, stop the comparison. The team did ok. After a pandemic and with a team of inexperienced athletes its ok. Its not my business, but what I find strange is that in other territories, the Athletic Associations announce bids. IN Bahama-land. politicians get involved in the bid, and muddy the waters.
The host country and organizing committee is mostly responsible for accommodations. So da govament will end up footing the bill.. Bra if you gonna host, just host, you don't need to be selling silly packages. And to teh other fella. IN Kingston this weekend Bahamians vibed up the place with their band. WE did not feel any kind of way.
Well, I ma a Jamaican here. I guess there are constitutional issues. However why people want to gather up and "gwaan bad" with these concerts, in this time is beyond me. That being said. Mr. Daps cannot get any concerts in Jamaica at this time. No Sir.
So I guess he is trying his constitutional luck in these Bahamas.
I guess you are talking countries like Jamaica huh? Are you proud of the colorful traditions of the Haitians you abuse daily? 'Haitians" who have been "Bahamians" for decades. Only "black" people countries have statues of those who oppressed them.
