Why put an additional demand on the already stretched public treasury for a new technology when national security already has ankle bracelets that allow tracking? Who is/are the beneficiary(ies) of this new app?

Secondly, why is this being introduces so late in the game. It should have been foreseeable that if you ask infected persons to self isolate there should have been means in place to monitor them to ensure they did not become 'super spreaders'. Too little too late!

But yet the vast majority of those in a Tribune poll thought the government was doing a good job managing this problem.

Quite an arrogant posture to take from one who lacked the authority to breach an EO by the PM. Unfortunately our politicians lack the moral character to do the right thing without political pressure being applied and the PM is too politically weak within his own party to stir up more controversy, so I guess D'Aguilar ain't going nowhere!

Sure wish I could have bought 10,000 shares of Amazon 20 years ago!

... so using that logic taking the risk of starting or investing in a business is equivalent to buying numbers? I don't agree, there are different kinds of risk. Additionally, I don't know if anyone can get addicted to buying stocks and bonds to the detriment of their families!

There is no need to halt repatriations. Bahamians should be home and the government must figure out a way to deal with them. Better to suffer at home than in another mans land!
