… sad but true. Integrity is not an integral part of any profession in this country any more. The almighty dollar rules!

… nonsense. One is investing (which is an educated risk) in the potential of a company by allowing it to receive capital to produce a good or service when purchasing stocks, making the investor a part owner of that company! The investor owns something legal, tangible and transferable with benefits (dividends) or losses depending on the performance of the company. The risk of stocks etc is not akin to betting on numbers, which are a different matter because the house always wins. Numbers sellers don't go out of business as companies may!

@Topdude... what a joke! The constructive criticism in the posts of myself and others would have this country much farther along if the PM was open to objective advice. Minnis's entire time in office has been reactive not proactive. His personal insecurities cause him to govern from a position of self preservation NOT vision. The botched debacle of Dorian, his failure to close this country after the first covid case and his failure to prepare for the upcoming hurricane season despite spending multiplied millions on other things shows he has no vision, he simply reacts! I have a pretty good idea of what competence looks like and Minnis is not (not as leader of this country)! He may have what it takes to be leader of a political party, but he simply does not have what it takes to run a country. Perry Christie is the only reason Minnis is leader of this country! Minnis is a man who tells the elderly to be at the grocery store to shop from 6-8 am when they don't open until 7 am!

BTW Brave is another cluleless wonder. Only the grace of God keeps this country afloat despite the serial dimwits that govern us!

… and despite Sands not advising we close the borders of the country after the first COVID-19 case, not ordering swabs when he had the chance or ordering kits without swabs, not outlining coherent strategies to move forward, undertesting and abusing his office by allowing a few swabs in with privileged residents, there are those who believe he was the best thing since sliced bread and believe he actually made a contribution in the response against this virus. What a laugh!

Quite frankly I am trying to wonder how barbers and others who work on a volume basis are surviving. I feel no sorrow for Sebas and those legal criminals of his ilk!

I expect there to be an explosion in births by the end of the year (or record numbers of abortions).

@telestai ...liquor stores sell a tangible product ( I can hold a bottle of Cabernet in my hand and drink it or use it to cook), unlike a gambling house that sells false hope, preys on the lazy and financially undisciplined while undermining the work ethic!!
