Apart from the infection it would be nice to know if all these deaths had anything else in common or what happened between the time they were diagnosed and died!

… are we using Monopoly money here Doc?

… with all due respect it appears you have not been following this as closely as you should have. Both Sands and Minnis have done a bum job managing this crisis.

In early January Sands said we have more dangerous viruses in this country than coronavirus and they were ordering tests (yet we still have a problem with tests).

They set up a "Rapid Response Team" in February but failed to have a plan to ensure positive patients did not move around the community to continue spreading.

Despite us being a tourist destination they refused to consider closing the borders to tourists in early March and continued to allow flights from countries where it was known that the virus was spreading!

I could go on and on, but why? The information has been there all along for others to objectively assess.

Between the line up for union vouchers, lines at other places other than grocery stores (thank God) and this, expect another COVID-19 surge within 5-14 days!

Bahamians are too daft!

… the idea is to provide a physical barrier between the user and the person they are face to face with to reduce the amount of droplets or even blood they are exposed to. In every instance the wearer will have on a face mask and usually goggles.
Can you imagine a dentist doing a procedure on a person with COVID-19 who has no symptoms while not wearing one?

This is an excellent lateral move for a Bahamian business. I wish them success!

Test again using a test kit NOT made in China!

He is right, no tax increases will come "amid" the coronavirus crisis, but expect them immediately after the crisis is over along with massive borrowing and continued government waste and social welfare entitlements.

Those persons standing in line to get a voucher after not working for one month are a true representation of our country that also lives hand to mouth, begging and borrowing just to survive!

Sands said weeks ago that they had test kits but no swabs!! Who in the world would order tests but not an essential component that allows you to use the test. This reeks of incompetence all around. What have they done to try and rectify the problem other than talk?

He also said 10,000 rapid tests were ordered, what happened to those?

@stillwaters... just go back and look at some of the suggestions that have been made here over the past 4-6 weeks by non-medical people! We still don't know what, if anything, they are doing for people who are hospitalized with this virus!

It is truly sad that after one month people have to stand in line, in the hot sun for food vouchers! This is dehumanizing!! Our mentality toward saving and making better choices so that we have more control over our lives has to change.

I also couldn't help but notice that there are only about 3 people in the picture under 200 lbs!

On Long lines as people claim food vouchers
