So do people just get to make that claim or will paternity testing be mandatory? After all, biological fathers cannot be proven by just saying so!

… this pandemic came like a slow moving Mack truck and the health team did not order appropriate tests or PPE's in adequate numbers, did not recommend the closure of the borders before or immediately after the first COVID 19 case was diagnosed, did not have a strategy to confine infected cases, did not have a means to track infected cases they sent to SELF isolate, did not stop the PM's orders that caused people to panic and congregate in order to further spread the virus, set up a covid hotline but told people with symptoms to self isolate without followup (I personally know several people), have done zero antibody tests that are public knowledge, have tested less than 0.5% of the population and cannot given an accurate reporting of how many people may have immunity to the infection but you say what?

I do not agree, but am really interested in hearing a few of the objective reasons why you think so.

... none of those leaders are doctors. We had two doctors stumble, bumble and fumble since the earliest days of this virus, right up until today.

It is Gods grace NOT medical leadership that has allowed us to come through this relatively safe thus far!

A fast network would help with digitization. Sounds like he just fell short of announcing that we may possibly have a new (possibly) Huawei 5g network that might have been installed during lock down-- possibly??

The great irony here is that in short order his MP will be coming around with a smile and a handshake to look for his vote. I hope he saved some of them coconut husks to pelt him with!

Kudos to those who helped pay his fine!

… solid B+ no way. Our numbers are not a reflection of reality.
Firstly, many people who called the COVID hotline with symptoms were told to stay home and were never tested or followed up-- this is a fact. Secondly, they did not order enough tests and sent infected people home with no way to monitor their movement through the community. Finally the decisions to open are not based on testing, so we actually do not know how many people have actually been infected or are immune. Our numbers in Nassau are probably going down because we have attained herd immunity in part because Minnis repeatedly caused mass congestion of people at food stores and other places during the course of this pandemic NOT because of some stellar job done by Minnis or the ministry of health. It is only by Gods grace that more people did not get really sick and die!

Minnis clearly lack the capacity to make rational decisions that can balance the national interest without continuing to oppressively hurt the citizens of the country with his despotic dictates. Sadly, not one MP from the FNM side has said anything to bring the cries of their constituents to the fore, or suggested they take a salary cut for now. What a sorry bunch!!

In spite of that, a vote of no confidence in Minnis should be tabled and the DPM should hold the reins for the time being!

… but still the overwhelming majority of voters in a Tribune poll thought the government was doing a good job managing this crisis. Bahamians have such low expectations, are cognitively disconnected from what normal should be and have such short memories that in the not too distant future a T shirt, promise of a job and a few cold Kaliks will be enough for them to forget the hell they endured at this time and they will rush to vote for another slate of incompetent candidates. Religion is not the opiate of the people, gambling, alcohol and sex are... the brainless love them!
